USA Field Hockey’s Kentucky State Chapter to Host Launch Event

The new USA Field Hockey Kentucky State Chapter is hosting a "Grow the Game of Field Hockey” launch event this Saturday, April 27, 2024.  The event, which will take place from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., will be hosted at Southeast Family YMCA in Louisville, Ky.

It will be a day of family fun and excitement for all, from curious beginners to seasoned players. This event promises something for everyone:

• Games Galore: From friendly meet-and-greets to skill-building drills, there will be plenty of opportunities to hit the field and showcase your talents. There will also be an adult game at 4:00 p.m.!

• Food Trucks: Refuel and recharge with delicious bites from our lineup of food trucks. From savory to sweet, there's something to satisfy every craving.

• Scavenger Hunts: Embark on an adventure around the venue as you solve clues and uncover hidden treasures.

• Activities for All Ages: Whether you're a kid or a kid at heart, we have activities tailored to suit every age group. From drills and skills to officiating, recreational leagues, and adult hockey opportunities!

The chapter is passionate about growing the game of field hockey in Kentucky and believes that events like these are crucial for fostering a vibrant and inclusive community. There's a place everyone in the Kentucky field hockey family.
