Rosters Announced for 2024 World Masters Indoor World Cup

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following recent practices and selection sessions at the end of last year, the U.S. Masters Transition Team has named the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Masters Indoor Teams that will compete in the 2024 World Masters Hockey (WMH) Masters Indoor World Cup (MIWC) in Nottingham, England from March 26 to April 1.

Team USA will compete in the MIWC against teams from Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Guyana, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Scotland, Switzerland, and Wales, along with Alliance and Spirit of Masters teams. The USA Men will be represented in the O-35, O-50 and O-60 divisions, and the USA Women will be represented in the O-35, O-45, O-55 and O-60 divisions. The teams will be led by a seasoned group of coaches that includes USA Field Hockey Level 2 and 3  Coaching Certification. For more information on the 2024 WMH MIWC, visit the official event page.

Nottingham also hosted the outdoor 2023 Masters World Cup for the O-35, O-40 and O45 men’s and women’s teams. This fall, WMH will feature the outdoor 2024 Masters World Cup that will be played in Cape Town, South Africa for O-35 and O-40 men’s and women’s teams as well as the O-65, O-70, O-75, and O-80 men’s grand masters teams. The O-45, O-50, O-55, O-60 men’s and women’s teams as well as the O-65 and O-70 women’s teams will compete in Auckland, New Zealand. USA is excited to compete after the previous edition of the MIWC, which was slated to take place in 2022 in Virginia Beach, Va., was canceled.
