Passmore Establishes Traveling Roster for First Mini-Tournaments of 2023-24 FIH Hockey Pro League

BHUBANESWAR & ROURKELA, India – U.S. Women’s National Team’s Head Coach David Passmore and coaching staff have named the traveling roster for the first mini-tournaments of the 2023-24 FIH Hockey Pro League.

“After the excitement of qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the USWNT spent nine days in Goa to regenerate and recharge before we start our FIH H ockey Pro League campaign,” commented Passmore. “It is good to be able to draw on a large squad as the loss of co-captain Ashley Hoffman to a broken hand is disappointing. She played well in the Olympic Qualifier although I am excited to have Fusine to step up after a period of hard physical conditioning.  Having been in India for nearly a month, the team can’t wait to get going again and put in a good showing after a disappointing Pro League campaign last year.”

“Having the top two nations in the world as our first two matches will be challenging but there is a clearly a renewed confidence in the squad after the performances in Ranchi and they are keen to test themselves out in the fantastic Kalinga stadium.”
