*The Level 1 Program involves two registrations – Level 1 - Part 1 (Online) and Level 1 - Part 2 (In-Person Instructional Coaching Clinic). The Level 2 Program is one registration which includes access to the Level 2 Online Course and the In-Person clinic. Online Courses must be completed prior to attending the In-Person Offerings. Both are required to gain full Level 1 and Level 2 Certifications.

Certification Pathways#
Level 1 Certification
The Level 1 Program requires two separate registrations:
- Part 1: Level 1 Online Course (access on the In the Circle App)
- Part 2: Level 1 In-Person Instructional Coaching Clinic
Both parts must be completed to earn full Level 1 Certification.
Level 2 Certification
The Level 2 Program requires one registration, which includes:
- Access to the Level 2 Online Course
- Enrollment in the Level 2 In-Person Coaching Clinic
Both the online and in-person portions are required to earn full Level 2 Certification.
Note: Online courses must be completed before attending the in-person clinics.

Coach Education Registration & Payment
For those planning on attending an in-person Level 1 Instructional Clinics, you will first need to complete the Coaching Credentials Application. This will grant you access to the Level 1 Online Course, which is a prerequisite for registering for the Level 1 and Level 2 In Person Clinic.
To being the process, simply follow the prompts in the PDF to enroll in your Certification Pathway and gain access to the required online training.

Technical Skills Workshop
As the game of field hockey evolves, so do the skills required to play. This three-hour workshop is the perfect opportunity to focus on the correct teaching of the key technical skills necessary to succeed in preparation for the upcoming season. Coaches of all levels are welcome and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Goalkeeping Workshop
Teaching goalkeeping and developing and managing goalkeepers is a common challenge. This three-hour workshop will help coaches teach the correct goalkeeping skills and provide suggestions on working with multiple goalkeepers in a team setting. New and experienced coaches of youth, club, high school and collegiate athletes are welcome.
Goal Scoring Workshop
This workshop will identify and teach the key skills required to help coaches develop effective goal scorers. The workshop will include a variety of specific game related individual skills as well as providing practice examples that will highlight some of the tactical considerations and decisions teams and individuals are presented within the attacking circle.
Attacking/Defending Principles Workshop
This 3 hour workshop is designed to provide practical and usable technical and tactical tips to help coaches support their teams. Both Attacking Principles and Defending Principles workshops are offered.
