Invest once and support the sport for generations.

  • USA Field Hockey Endowment

A lasting investment for field hockey.

Established in 1984 with a gift from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee from revenue generated by the Los Angeles Olympic Games, the USA Field Hockey Endowment was created with a simple but powerful vision: to make a lasting investment in the future of the sport.

For more than four decades, the Endowment has provided ongoing support to USA Field Hockey and the USA Field Hockey Foundation. Because an endowment is designed to provide support year after year, it creates a lasting source of strength for the sport—one that can benefit generations of athletes to come.

By growing the Endowment today, you can help ensure that the sport you love continues to thrive for generations to come.

  • The Shelly Fund

    For Women, by Women.

Established in 2020 with a $1 million gift in honor of legendary U.S. Women’s National Team member Betty “Shelly” Shellenberger, The  Shelly Fund honors the trailblazers and historical figures who helped build USA Field Hockey - including Shelly and the other members of the “Golden Girls.” The Fund, formed by Shelly’s life partner, Grace Robertson, provides lasting support for the U.S. Women’s National Team and its high-performance programs.

Shelly’s impact on the sport spanned generations. She holds the record for the longest tenur on the national team at 22 years. She was an umpire, an officer of USA Field Hockey, and served as its first executive secretary for more than 23 years. She also served as an officer of the International Federation of Women’s Hockey Associations and as a member of the International Hockey Federation’s Rules Board.

Her vision and legacy live on through the Shelly Fund, helping provide the resources our women’s national team athletes need to compete at the highest level.
