Selection to the U.S. Men's National Team is based on performance within the USA Junior and Senior National Team events, Development or High Performance Sites. Players outside of these squads may be added to the "training squad" based on known ability and performance at the discretion of U.S. Men's National Team Head Coach. The final verdict for selection to Team USA will be based upon performance while participating on the "training squad." The duration of time for a trial period will be at the discretion of the U.S. Men's National Team Head Coach.
