USA Field Hockey Announces Start of 2025-26 Indoor Season with Dates, Locations & Registration Details

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is excited to officially launch the 2025-26 indoor season, with a full schedule of qualifiers and premier national events for all age divisions. Clubs are encouraged to register early, as spots are expected to fill quickly. A guest player option will be available to any USA Field Hockey Member who wishes to attend as a free agent for any non-qualifying event. Individuals can apply online through the respective event pages.
The indoor season registration window will commence with the new National Indoor Festival, Ocean City, the event will take place on December 19 to 21, with registration opening on Wednesday, September 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET. All team registrations will be conducted through Sport:80, USA Field Hockey’s membership platform.
USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the host locations for the 2025-26 National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers (NITQ), presented by YOLO Sportswear, for the U-16 and U-19 Girls divisions.
Games will begin on Saturday, December 13, 2025 and teams will compete to earn their spots for the 2026 National Indoor Tournament (NIT), presented by YOLO Sportswear. The NITQ are regionally held tournaments for U-16 and U-19 Girls, where the top teams will qualify and advance to their respective NIT. This year will feature 14 unique sites for the U-19 Girls, and 15 unique host sites for U-16 Girls. Clubs should stay tuned for more information regarding the offers of each location, and submission for registering.

U-16 Girls National Indoor Tournament Qualifier registration will open on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Teams will have the opportunity to select their preferred site locations, as well as provide information regarding the quantity of teams and ranking (if applicable). Once allocations have been made teams will be alerted to their placements and if waitlisted to a specific location. U-19 Girls will open on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., and mirror the same process.
Click here to see a sample schedule for a 24 team NITQ event. Pool placement varies depending on submitted team ratings. Only the top 12 teams advance to the National Indoor Tournament. An individual may only attempt to qualify once per age division (age restrictions applied). For example, a U-16 athlete may attempt to qualify in the U-16 division as well as the U-19 division, but only once in each age division
USA Field Hockey is finalizing plans for its fourth annual All Starz Winter Invitational alongside the National Indoor Tournament. All Starz is USA Field Hockey disability inclusion program. If you are interested in learning more about All Starz, please contact sportdevelopment@usafieldhockey.com.
