How and when did field hockey first become your game?

I started playing hockey when I was seven and never looked back. Growing up, Indian national team player Jagbir Singh was from my hometown, serving as a massive inspiration for all of us local kids.

What does it mean to you to still be lacing up — and to wear the USA jersey — at the Masters level?

I feel blessed and lucky to be able to play at this age. I am extremely proud to play for the USA.

What's the field hockey moment you'll never forget?

Scoring a goal in the Junior National Games. Actually, every moment spent with my teammates on and off the field is unforgettable.

What would you tell someone who's on the fence about giving Masters a try?

I will encourage them and tell them to try at least once. This organization has given me friends from all ages and all around the world. I was able to convince eight new players to come and try out for the 2026 MWC squad.

How and when did field hockey first become your game?

I played my first game aged 13 for a men's side in Lewes, Sussex, UK and it quickly became a favourite sport.

What's the field hockey moment you'll never forget?

Being the only Englishman to score during the World Masters Championship game between Australia and England (while playing for Australia!) on our way to winning the trophy. 

What does it mean to you to still be lacing up — and to wear the USA jersey — at the Masters level?

It means so much to still be able to compete at an age when so many people do not have the opportunity to play sport - let alone at an international level.

What would you tell someone who's on the fence about giving Masters a try?

When was the last time you played competitive hockey - and got to spend time with a group of awesome people in the hockey family?
