Roster Announced for 2026 FIH Para Hockey World Cup

In a monumental moment, USA Field Hockey has announced the ten-athlete* roster for the 2026 FIH Para Hockey World Cup.

The 2026 FIH Para Hockey World Cup is a 6-a-side event to be played in Amstelveen, Netherlands, and Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, from August 21 to 25, 2026. The finals will be held in the same arenas as those hosting the FIH Hockey World Cup, namely the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen and the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre. Teams are co-ed, made up of ten adult athletes and five staff of coaches and managers. 

In February 2026, USA Field Hockey was invited by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) to bring a team to compete, leading to USA’s Hockey ii (Intellectual Impairment) team set to compete in its first-ever international tournament.

“We are very excited to make history this August in Belgium for the inaugural Para Hockey World Cup,” said Lindsay Jackason, Co-Head Coach. “We have been working really hard to recruit and prepare our athletes for this opportunity and feel that we have a strong core group that brings gratitude, bravery and a strong sense of community to the team. 

“There are a lot of people across the country supporting this effort and we appreciate that tremendously. The athletes on this roster bring different levels of experience and talents to the table. We continue to grow with every training session we have in our technical and strategic side of our game, while building a foundation for our team's culture and brand of hockey.  We look forward to the experience we will all gain in Belgium.”

The roster features athletes from across the country, representing six different states: California, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia. Anchoring the backline are defenders Noah Croy (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Nate Miller (Hershey, Pa.), joined by midfielders and forwards Katie Costello (Mechanicsburg, Pa.), Jessi Everett (Saline, Mich.) Braden Jenkins (Fairview, Tenn.), and Scott Weisbrot (Merrick, N.Y.)

Aidan Smith (Arlington, Va.) and Madisun Rosier (Spring Hill, Tenn.) are the two goalkeepers, and both can also play in the field.
