In just two days, 16 men's and 16 women's teams will take the pitch in Belgium and the Netherlands for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup! The two-week-long nonstop action will showcase the world’s finest athletes as they battle for the coveted World Cup trophy and the opportunity to etch their names into hockey history. The No. 11 U.S. Women's National Team start their journey on Saturday, August 15 at Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre, Belgium. Below is everything you need to know before the first match!

    The women's FIH Hockey World Cup will run from August 15-29, 2026.

  • Pool B

    The teams in Pool B are No. 2 Argentina, No. 5 Germany, No. 11 USA and No. 14 Scotland. USA opens competition against Pan American rival, Argentina, on Saturday, August 15 at 11:30 a.m. ET. They will continue against Scotland on Monday, August 17 at 5:00 a.m. ET, before taking on Germany on Wednesday, August 19 at 8:00 a.m. ET.

  • How USA Qualified

    The USA qualified for the FIH Hockey World Cup after a second-place finish at the Pan American Cup in July 2025, where they fell to Argentina in the final. Since Argentina already secured a spot at the FIH Hockey World Cup through their second-place finish in the 2024-25 FIH Hockey Pro League, USA were granted qualification through the continental quota.
