WC Eagles Claim U-19 Gold, 2026 National Club Championship Concludes
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – It was another clean sweep for the WC Eagles of Pennsylvania, who capped off the 2026 National Club Championship (NCC), presented by Harrow Sports, with a win in the U-19 division.
The U-19 NCC was competitive and historical, seeing Focus from Region 8N medal for the first time in club history, an unprecedented three-way tie in pool play, and plenty of shootouts. WC Eagles took home gold for the eighth consecutive year, while Texas Pride continued their medal streak started in 2024.
After the 24 teams completed pool play on day one, crossovers began on day two, eventually creating a final eight teams in the quarterfinals. After four intense matches, it would be WC Eagles against Texas Pride and Freedom HKY against Focus in the semifinals. WC Eagles won their match-up, 5-0, while Focus advanced with a 2-1 victory. The dominant WC Eagles team secured the 2026 trophy with a 6-1 win over Focus, while Texas Pride battled with a 3-1 win over Freedom HKY for bronze.
The end of the U-19 division also marks the end of the 2026 NCC. USA Field Hockey would like to congratulate all of the teams, athletes, and coaches who participated. And thank you to the umpires, umpire managers, staff, and volunteers who continue to make the NCC a success.
Special thank you to the 2026 NCC presenting sponsor, Harrow Sports.
