2026 Boys AAU Junior Olympic Games Participants Announced

DE MOINES, Iowa - USA Field Hockey is pleased to reveal the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games Boys Participants for the event taking place next week. For the first time, the boys’ competition will feature a standalone U-14 7v7 and U-18 7v7 event, providing a fast-paced and dynamic competitive environment.

This year’s event will take place at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, from August 4 to 6 for the Boys. On the first day of the event, there will be mandatory training in the evening led by U.S. U-21 Men’s National Team Head Coach Paul Singh. Players will be evaluated and then placed on teams for the next two days of competition. All athletes will receive individual evaluations, feedback, and guidance for further development by their team coach. 

The Amateur Athletic Union’s premier multi-sport event, the AAU Junior Olympic Games, brings together more than 14,000 athletes to compete in 20 sports. In the sport of field hockey, USA Field Hockey selects approximately 250 boys and girls athletes to participate in the annual event. The event provides U-14 and U-18 boys with the opportunity to experience an Olympic-like multi-sport competition while enjoying the camaraderie and inspiration from other top athletes in other featured sports.
