CHARLOTTE, N.C. – U.S. Men’s National Team Head Coach Allan Law has named the 20-athlete squad that will travel to Surrey, Canada to compete in an international series against No. 19 Canada from June 29 to July 2.

““The Canada Test Series provides us with a valuable opportunity to compete again quickly following the Nations Cup and to test the depth of our squad in a strong international environment,” said Law. “This group includes a good mix of new faces and experienced players, which allows us to assess different combinations, expose athletes to meaningful competition, and continue building the depth required across the U.S. Men’s National Team program. These three matches will be an important part of our ongoing development as we continue to challenge the group and raise standards across the pathway.”

USA and Canada will play three sanctioned games at Tamanawis Field Hockey Turf in Surrey, Canada on Monday, June 29; Tuesday, June 30; and Thursday, July 2.

The No. 26 United Wolves and Canada last met in a thrilling bronze medal match at the 2023 Pan American Games. Action packed from the start, Canada got on the board first, but USA equalized just before the half. Canada tallied two more and the Wolves cut the margin late in the game. A late comeback effort and last minute shot for USA went unrewarded as Canada held on for the 3-2 victory.
