WC Eagles Win U-14 Gold to Kick Off 2026 National Club Championship
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – After three days at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., WC Eagles came out on top at the 2026 U-14 Girls National Club Championship (NCC), presented by Harrow Sports.
The event, which began with the U-14 age division and continues on with U-16 and U-19 this week, features 24 of the nation's top teams, qualified from regions across the country.
On day one, teams competed in pool matches, where the top two teams in each pool advanced to the top-16 bracket. Crossovers began on the second day, which was cut short due to weather. On the third and final day, the quarterfinals finished out, leaving two semifinals match-ups of WC Eagles versus AGH and Texas Pride versus Mayhem. The championship match featured WC Eagles against Texas Pride, with the former coming out on top, and AGH taking home bronze.
Despite the adjusted schedule, teams adapted well, and the 2026 U-14 NCC was another experience to remember. USA Field Hockey would like to congratulate all of this year's teams, athletes, and coaches who participated. And thank you to the umpires, umpire managers, and volunteers who continue to make the NCC a success.
Play in Virginia Beach continues this week with the U-16 and U-19 age divisions. For more information about the 2026 National Club Championship, visit the event page.
