December 20, 2012: Canada opened scoring in the fifth minute on a penalty corner and added a field goal before the end of the first half for a two goal advantage at halftime. 

The U.S. came out ready to get back in the match in the second half. Michael Barminski found Tyler Sundeen in the circle in the 38th minute. Sundeen tallied a second goal just four minutes later on a breakaway to even the match 2-2. The U.S. took their first lead of the match in the 51st minute with a goal by Johnny Orozco and finished strong by not conceding a goal. 

December 18, 2012: The U.S. fell to Canada in the second match of a four game series in Moorpark, CA. Johnny Orozco scored first on a penalty stroke after teammate Michael Barminski and was shoved while shooting on goal. One minute later, Canada equalized with a field goal in the 31st minute. During the first half, USA, player Paul Singh came off with an injured hamstring and did not return for the remainder of the match. 

In the second half both teams swapped possesion and opportunities. However, an unfortuate turnover in the last minute by the U.S. awarded Canada with a penalty corner and scoring opporutnity. Canada capitalized with zero time remaining on the clock. Canada's Gordon Johnson scored the game winner. 

The U.S. is back in action again on December 20 for the third match of the series. 

December 17, 2012: The U.S. U-21 Junior Men's Team played Canada to a 1-1 draw this afternoon in the first of a four game test series at Moorpark College in Moorpark, CA. 

Canada opened the match with a field goal in the fifth minute. Canada held a one goal advantage at the end of the first half. The U.S. scored an equalizer in the 54th minute on a penalty corner. Johnny Orozco's drag flick went directly at Canada's goalkeeper and the save spilled out in front to allow Paul Singh to send the ball to the left side of the goal. 

Nicholas Gendreau, Doug Allison, Nicholas Richardson and Jaspret Gill competed in their first international competition with the U-21 team. 

The U.S. will face Canada tomorrow in the second match of the series at 2:30 p.m. local time.
