    USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the 2026 inductee class of the Hall of Fame. This class honors seven individuals, with four Athletes and one each in the categories of Coach, Official and Contributor.

    This coming year’s class includes Katie (O’Donnell) BamJackie (Kintzer) BriggsMelissa Gonzalez and Ben Maruquin as Athletes, Pam Hixon as a Coach, Renee Chatas as an Official, and Alva Serrette as a Contributor. All seven of these individuals have played, represented or served the sport, USA Field Hockey and other organizations in impactful ways that have shaped it for the better.

    2026 Hall of Fame
    • September 8, 2025: Nomination period opens.
    • October 1, 2025: Nomination period closes.
    • October 2-12, 2025: Nominations reviewed for fact checking.
    • October 13, 2025: Nominations submitted to Hall of Fame Committee for review.
    • November 18, 2025: Hall of Fame Committee finalizes inductees.
    • December 9, 2025: Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced on USA Field Hockey's website.
    • January 2026: Individual biographies on each inductee shared on USA Field Hockey’s website.
    • May 2026: Hall of Fame Celebration

Selection Criteria

The criteria for selection into the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame is based on achievement, innovation and contributions to the sport. To be considered, an individual must have been a member of the U.S. National Team for a minimum of five years; and must have been out of competition at the national level for five years. Objective point system takes into account each year a candidate played for, coached or captained the U.S. National Team, Olympic Team, an international tournament or a squad representing the United States on an international tour.
