• Umpire or coach for the first time
• Host an equipment drive for a community or team in need
• Get creative with signs, t-shirts and headbands
• Submit your “old school” photos for Flashback Friday (September 9th)
• Support Grow the Game programs and initiatives

Contests
USA Field Hockey will be hosting a social media contest leading up to National Field Hockey Day on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. The contest will consist of a video or photos explaining why you are Hooked on Hockey. What is it about field hockey that has you hooked? Why do you stick with it? What is your field hockey goal? Why do you think it's a ball?

Show or tell us why you are hooked and you may win a prize and have your submission posted on our USA Field Hockey website and in our promotional materials.

Post your contest submissions of 15-60 second videos or photos with captions on USA Field Hockey's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To enter the contest, make sure your submission is in before Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Tag @USAFieldHockey in your post on your public profile account and include the hashtags #NFHDay2016 and #HookedOnHockey.

Our favorite submissions will be announced as winners on Thursday, September 15, 2016. USA Field Hockey will announce at least three winners of the contest. The grand prize winner - individual or team - will receive awesome prizes!
