Instructor for this Level 1 Instructional Coaching Clinic:

Carolyn King Robitaille | Saint Anselm College Head Coach | Level 1 Head Coach Educator

King-Robitaille holds a USA Field Hockey Level 2 Coaching Certification and was invited to participate in USA Field Hockey’s first-ever Coach Educator Training in 2018. She is the site director for the Futures Program site held at Saint Anselm College and has been both a coach and selector for the Northeast Regional Futures Tournament. King-Robitaille was also the recipient of the 2018 USA Field Hockey National Coach Award.

She was a four-year varsity field hockey forward at Bates College from 2003-06 and also played catcher for the softball team. Internationally, King-Robitaille suited up in South Africa as an independent player in 2006, played in Holland that same year as a member of the Bates squad and traveled to Argentina as a member of the Bates coaching staff in 2009. In 2015, she took her Saint Anselm team to Ireland to compete against clubs in the greater Dublin area.

King-Robitaille enters her eighth season as the head coach at Saint Anselm College. A two-time Northeast-10 (NE-10) Coach of the Year, King-Robitaille has led her program to three straight NCAA appearances. She is the former coaches’ chair for field hockey of the NE-10 and is an active member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association, USA Field Hockey and the WeCoach organization (NCAA Women Coaches Academy - Class 39).


Julie Munson | Southern New Hampshire University Head Coach | Level 1 Coach Educator

Munson is the head field hockey coach at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) where she helped re-start the program in 2014. The program was previously a school sponsored team from 1977-81.

Prior to re-starting the field hockey program at SNHU, Munson previously served as an assistant coach at Harvard University for three years and James Madison University for six seasons. She played collegiately at the University of New Hampshire as a goalkeeper.

Munson has helped coach within USA Field Hockey's Futures Program as both a goalkeeper coach and field player coach. She also was a selector for the Regional Futures Tournaments and National Futures Championship as well as coached teams at the National Futures Championship. Munson has also been an assistant coach for High Performance program.
