Rosters Announced for Inaugural 2023 World Masters Hockey Pan American Continental Cup

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following recent practices and selection sessions, the U.S. Masters Transition Team has named the outdoor U.S. Men’s and Women’s Masters Teams that will compete in the 2023 World Masters Hockey (WMH) Pan American Continental Cup (PACC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina this December.

The PACC, slated to take place December 6 through 14, is the inaugural Masters continental tournament for the Americas. While Masters hockey has been popular in Europe for over a decade, the enthusiasm is now growing in North and South America. The 2023 European Championships took place earlier this summer in Valencia, Spain and Nottingham, England. Another WMH event that is debuting this year is the Asian Continental Cup, which will take place in November in Hong Kong.

Team USA will join teams from Argentina, Canada, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay. The USA Men will be represented by an O-35 team in the O-35/O-40 division and an O-50 team in the O-45/O-50 division. The USA Women will be represented by teams in the O-35 and O-40 divisions as well as an O-50 team playing in the O-45/O-50 division, and an O-60 team playing in the O-55/O-60/O-65 division. The teams will be led by a top-notch group of coaches that include those with USA Field Hockey Level 2 and 3 Coaching Certification, which will enrich the coaching on and off the field.

Please join us in congratulating those athletes chosen for the inaugural WHM PACC.
