Tryouts Established for 2024 FIH Hockey5s World Cup Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the process for those athletes interested in being considered for the teams for the FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024. Set to take place from January 24 to 31 in Muscat, Oman, both the men and women USA squads qualified after clinching gold at the inaugural 2023 Hockey5s Pan American Cups.

The men’s tryout will take place November 28 to 30 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, in Charlotte, N.C. The men will be led by USMNT Head Coach Harry Singh. The cost of the men’s tryout is $100 and includes the trainings and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. Athletes are responsible for their own transport, accommodations and breakfast and dinner.

Men's Hockey5s World Cup Tryout Registration

The women’s tryout will take place January 5 to 7 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, in Charlotte, N.C. The women will be headed by Rachel Dawson. Athletes will be invited from observations of the NCAA season, national team, development team, u21 team and junior pathway programs.
