ANTWERP, Belgium & LONDON, England – U.S. Women’s National Team’s Head Coach David Passmore and coaching staff have named the traveling roster for the second mini-tournaments of the 2023-24 FIH Hockey Pro League.
“The focus of these final [FIH Hockey]Pro League tournaments will be on the preparation and selection of the team for Paris,” commented Passmore. “We have chosen to bring a large group of athletes and will rotate the group to ensure players can continue their physical preparation while managing their load to prevent injury risk. The four matches in 5 and 6 days for each tournament has meant the FIH change in stance to name 24 athletes is most welcomed. Following our recent matches against Argentina in Charlotte, selection is still very much up for grabs so every game and performance will be important to us, as will the training opportunities we have in between.”
