State Chapter Brings Excitement to Kentucky with Youth Clinic and Game League
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Over 125 young athletes gathered at Louisville Collegiate School in Louisville, Ky. this past November for an inspiring USA Field Hockey State Chapter event. Students from kindergarten to 6th grade engaged in a dynamic clinic and participated in a game league. The event drew boys and girls from 28 different schools, blending beginners and experienced players alike.
The sessions provided an excellent opportunity for young players to develop their skills, learn teamwork, and grow their love for the game under the guidance of experienced coaches. Organized as part of USA Field Hockey’s ongoing efforts to expand the sport’s reach, the event included drills, scrimmages, and plenty of game-time action. The inclusive nature of the clinic allowed children to experience the thrill of field hockey in a welcoming and educational environment.
The Louisville Collegiate School served as an ideal host. Coaches and organizers expressed excitement over the event’s turnout, noted the growth of field hockey interest among Kentucky’s youth, and lauded USA Field Hockey’s commitment to fostering a strong local foundation for the sport.
