USA Field Hockey Shares 2026 Events Calendar

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey’s Events Department and Nexus Team have officially announced the dates for the 2026 events calendar.

Starting in the middle of December 2025 and running to the beginning of February 2026 – the 2026 U-16 Girls and U-19 Girls National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers (NITQ), presented by YOLO Sportswear, will take place across the country. The host sites will be announced in August. If you or your facility is interested in being a NITQ host, please contact events@usafieldhockey.com.

Registration for U-16 Girls Team opens on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 and U-19 Girls Teams on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, both at 12:00 p.m. ET. Registration information can be found online on the event page.

The 2026 year will start with the highly anticipated Sunshine Showcase at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex™, presented by Team IP, taking place Friday, January 23 through Sunday, January 25 in Kissimmee, Fla. This premier tournament will offer divisions for U-10 Co-Ed (7v7), U-12 Co-Ed (7v7), U-14 Co-Ed (7v7), U-14 Girls (7v7), U-14 Girls (11v11), U-16 Girls (11v11) and U-19 Girls (11v11). Each division is guaranteed five (5) games with a maximum of six (6) games.

Registration opens on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. ET through USA Field Hockey’s Sport:80 system.

The 2026 National Indoor Tournament (NIT), presented by YOLO Sportswear, will be hosted from Friday, February 13 to Sunday, March 1. Please note there has been some shift due to facilities availability.

  • February 13-16: U-14 Co-Ed & Girls NIT (Lancaster, PA)
  • February 20-22: U-16 Girls NIT (Lancaster, PA
  • February 27 – March 1: U-10/12 Co-Ed NIT (Lancaster, PA)
  • February 27 – March 1: U-19 Girls, Boys & Adult NIT (Richmond, VA)

Registration for the for U-14 Co-Ed & Girls Team will open on Wednesday, October 15, 2025; U-10 Co-Ed teams on Wednesday, October 22, 2025; U-12 Co-Ed Teams on Wednesday, October 29, 2025; and Boys and Adult Teams on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. All will be at 12:00 p.m. ET through USA Field Hockey’s Sport:80 system.

The 2026 National Indoor Festival (NIF) will take place Saturday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach. This event will offer divisions for U-10 Co-Ed, U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Co-Ed, U-14 Girls, U-16 Girls, U-19 Boys, U-19 Girls, Men and Women.

Registration opens on Wednesday, November 15, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. ET through USA Field Hockey’s Sport:80 system

The highly competitive 2026 Regional Club Championships (RCC), presented by Team IP, for the U-14 Girls, U-16 Girls and U-19 Girls, will take place from the end of March to middle of June in various locations.

The host sites will be announced in late January or early February. If you or your facility is interested in being a RCC host, please contact events@usafieldhockey.com.

The top 24 clubs from each age division from across the country will advance from their respective RCC and compete for the right to earn the National Club Champion title. The 2026 National Club Championship (NCC), presented by Team IP, will take place Monday, June 22 to Tuesday, June 30 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va.

  • June 22-24: U-14 Girls NCC
  • June 25-27: U-16 Girls NCC
  • June 28-30: U-19 Girls NCC

The Nexus Training Camps, presented by Osaka Hockey, will take place across the months of March, April and May in the nine regions over varying 3-weekend periods. Players will receive guidance and feedback throughout each weekend, enabling each player to progress and move as appropriate within the development pathway.

After the third training camp weekend, the top athletes will be invited to attend an additional training weekend – Nexus Selection Camp, presented by Osaka Hockey – where selections to the prestigious Nexus Championship and AAU Junior Olympic Games are made. This camp typically take place in May.

Registration for Junior Nexus will begin Tuesday, January 6, 2026 for returning Nexus players from 2025 and 2024. On Tuesday, January 20, 2025 registration will open for new players to the Nexus program. Stay tuned to your email and USA Field Hockey’s social media for details.

The Senior Nexus Training Sites will take place in various locations from April to June.

The top athletes will than advance to the Junior and Senior Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Osaka Hockey, which will take place Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 19 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va.

  • July 9-11: U-14 Girls NXC
  • July 12-14: U-16 Girls NXC
  • July 15-17: U-18 Girls NXC
  • July 17-19: U-21 Girls & Senior NXC

Registration for Senior Nexus will be rolled out in the early spring of 2025, stay tuned to your email and USA Field Hockey’s social media for details.

For the sixth year in a row, the 2026 Summer Bash at the Beach will be sanctioned by HomeTeam Sports and run from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. This event will feature 7v7 play on both water-based and, if necessary, dry field turf surfaces and is open to the U-10 Co-Ed, U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Co-Ed, and U-14 Girls divisions.

Registration opens on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. ET through USA Field Hockey’s Sport:80 system.

The 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games, a partnered event for both boys and girls, is set for the window of Wednesday, July 29 to Saturday, August 8 in Des Moines, Iowa. The exact dates for the field hockey tournament will be determined soon. The Girls athletes are selected and advanced from the 2026 Nexus Selection Camps, while the Boys have an interest registration.
