Cota Announces 2026 Rohrmax Cup Roster

VIENNA, Austria – Less than three weeks after wrapping up the Nkosi Cup, the U.S. Men’s National Indoor Team is set to return to action as they travel to Vienna, Austria for the 44th edition of the Rohrmax Cup. This traditional indoor hockey tournament will take place January 2 to 4, 2026 and head coach Pat Cota has announced the 12-athlete roster that will play at SV Arminen's Waldstadion against teams ranked in the top-15.

"With a short turnaround between the Nkosi Cup and the Rohrmax Cup, we are excited to maintain a strong core of players across both competitions," added Cota. "The Rohrmax Cup presents another valuable challenge for our young squad as they test themselves against some of Europe’s top teams in their final tune-up ahead of the European Indoor Championships.”

The No. 15 Indoor USMNT will compete in Pool B with FIH World Ranked No. 11 Croatia, No. 13 Switzerland and SV Arminen. Pool A features No. 1 Austria, No. 3 Belgium, No. 10 Czechia and No. 23 Ireland.

The No. 15 Indoor USMNT will compete in Pool B with FIH World Ranked No. 11 Croatia, No. 13 Switzerland and SV Arminen. Pool A features No. 1 Austria, No. 3 Belgium, No. 10 Czechia and No. 23 Ireland.

The Indoor USMNT has previously competed in the event three times. In 2020 they came in eighth, while in 2023 they won the whole event and in 2025 they finished fourth.

Participation in the 2025 Nkosi Cup would not be possible without the generous and continued support from the United States Men’s Field Hockey Foundation.
