VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Play concluded on Thursday afternoon at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. for the 2025 U-14 Girls National Club Championship, presented by Team IP. 24 teams, qualified from ten regions across the country, competed over three days for the coveted title of National Club Champion. After the dust cleared, WC Eagles emerged as the U-14 Girls champions.

On day one, teams played in pool matches, where the top two teams in each pool advanced to the top-16 bracket and the third-place teams battled on day two at the neighboring Princess Anne Athletic Complex (PAAC). Crossovers continued the third and final day, with WC Eagles matching up against Mayhem in one semifinal and IFHCK taking on South Jersey Edge in the other.

Familiar Region 5 foes WC Eagles and Mayhem met in the semifinal, with WC Eagles taking a dominant 5-0 victory. On the other side of the bracket, IFHCK and South Jersey Edge had an intense back-and-forth match which was decided in sudden victory shootouts. IFHCK ended up having the edge, moving on to the championship with a 3-2 win.

In the bronze medal match, South Jersey Edge found themselves in another close contest, eventually falling to Mayhem, who took a 1-0 victory to claim the bronze. A similarly narrow-margin game took place in the championship, with WC Eagles taking a 2-1 victory over IFHCK.

It was a hot and humid three days, but every team fought hard through the conditions to make this year’s U-14 Girls National Club Championship a memorable one. USA Field Hockey would like to congratulate all of this year's teams, athletes, and coaches who participated! And thank you to the umpires, umpire managers, and volunteers who continue to make the NCC a success.

Play in Virginia Beach continues this week with the U-16 Girls and U-19 Girls age divisions. For more information about the 2025 National Club Championship, visit the Event Page.
