USA Field Hockey Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Class
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey is proud to announce the 2025 class of the Hall of Fame. This class honors five individuals who have played a significant role in the development and support of the sport in the United States during their long careers and are all being inducted as Contributors.
Included in this year’s class are Dr. Judith Davidson, Tom Harris, Beverly Johnson, Jen Shillingford, and Sharon Taylor. All five of these individuals have served in multiple positions for both USA Field Hockey as well as other organizations that have shaped the future of the sport in the United States.
"I am pleased to welcome these five inductees into the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame as Contributors,” said Simon Hoskins, USA Field Hockey's Executive Director. “Judith, Tom, Beverly, Jen and Sharon are all pioneers of our sport and have dedicated so much to help shape the organization to where it is today. Many of our successes would not have been possible without the significant contributions and passion to advocate for field hockey.”
USA Field Hockey will formally honor these legends of the game at an event in the Philadelphia area in December.
Since its establishment in 1988, the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame has recognized individuals who have achieved success internationally and made significant contributions to the organization. In 2024, two new categories, Coaches and Officials, were added to the Hall of Fame. The Honorary Member category was retired and replaced with Contributor. Those who were elected to the Hall of Fame as Honorary Members will retain the title, but those inducted into the 2024 class and beyond will be Contributors. These additional categories and changes allow USA Field Hockey to recognize all members who have made significant contributions to the sport and USA Field Hockey. The USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame will now include Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Contributors.
In the lead up to the celebration, a biography on each of these deserving honorees will be featured on USA Field Hockey’s website.
