COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce several upcoming international appointments for umpires and technical staff this summer.

The No. 14 U.S. Women’s National Team is set to host both No. 11 Ireland and No. 10 New Zealand in two separate series this June and July. Each series will feature two International Hockey Federation (FIH) sanctioned matches at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C.

The two matches between the USWNT and Ireland are set to take place June 7 and 8. The umpires appointed are Katelyn Makovec, Allie Mikelson, and Ben Peters; the technical officials are Aaron Dudek, Lurah Hess, and Kim Scott. Saleem Aaron will be the umpire manager.

The series between the USWNT and New Zealand is set for July 5 and 6. The umpires appointed are Maggie Giddens and Brian Tyson; the technical officials are Blake Mohr, Rael Nyte, and Rene Zelkin. Gus Soteriades and Suzi Sutton will be the umpire managers.

Sandwiched between these two series, USA’s Ridge Bair has been appointed as an umpire to the FIH Men’s Nations Cup, set to take place June 15 to 21 in Kuala Lupur, Malaysia.
