The America East (AE) Championship bracket is officially set, with six teams heading into postseason action and Vermont clinching the No. 1 seed — and its first-ever regular season title — after a statement year in Burlington. Play begins Sunday, November 2, as No. 4 UMass Lowell hosts No. 5 Maine, while No. 3 UAlbany welcomes No. 6 Bryant. The semifinals will follow on Tuesday, November 4, hosted by top-seeded Vermont, with the championship slated for Friday, November 7.
Reigning 2024 AE champion Vermont closed its record-setting season in convincing fashion, shutting out Maine 4-1 in the finale to secure the top spot outright. Their semifinal opponent will be the winner of the UMass Lowell and Maine quarterfinal.
Second-seeded New Hampshire shared the regular-season crown with Vermont but fell to the Catamounts in tiebreakers. The Wildcats ride into postseason form after following a dominant 6-0 Senior Day win over Bryant, featuring two goals and an assist from junior captain Katheljine Knuttel. New Hampshire awaits the winner between UAlbany and Bryant.
UAlbany enjoyed an overtime thriller to close out the regular season. The Great Danes defeated UMass Lowell 3-2 behind a golden goal from Tessa Overgoor, who has seven goals on the season and remains one of the conference’s most dynamic offensive threats.
UMass Lowell will have home-field advantage for its opening round match against Maine, a rematch of a closely fought 2-1 contest earlier this fall. The River Hawks, led by forward Karlijn Kerkhof, enter with a comeback attitude after dropping their final two games of the season.
Bryant rounds out the field, marking its first America East postseason appearance since joining the conference in 2022. The Bulldogs have relied on offensive power Callie Caito, who has tallied seven goals this season, and will face a tall task against a UAlbany team that defeated them 3-0 in mid-October.

After an enthralling conference slate that saw three teams — North Carolina, Virginia, and Wake Forest — claim a share of the ACC regular season title, eight of the league’s nine teams descend on Louisville, Ky., for the 2025 ACC Tournament. The eight-time defending champion Tar Heels nabbed the No. 1 seed by virtue of a goal differential tiebreak, followed by the Cavaliers and Demon Deacons, respectively.
In the first of four quarterfinals, North Carolina plays the tournament’s host, eight-seeded Louisville. The Cardinals slipped into the field with a dramatic 3-2 win over Syracuse to close out the regular season and will look to avenge a 3-0 loss to North Carolina back on October 12. They’ll have to contend with the Tar Heels’ eight-game winning streak and conference-best 4.0 goals per game mark, led by All-ACC First Team selections in Ryleigh Heck and Charly Bruder.
Then fourth-seeded Duke, fresh off a dramatic overtime loss to UNC, draws No. 5 California. The Bears won a lone conference game a year ago but erased an 0-3 start by winning three of five in ACC play. Liz Klompmaker has been dynamic, slotting in fourth in the league in goals (15), but she’ll have a tough text against a Blue Devils defense that is second in goals allowed (0.94 per game).
No. 2 Virginia faces another West Coast side in No. 7 Stanford and will lean on the ACC Goalkeeper of the Year, Nilou Lempers. The junior leads the conference in goals against average (.636) by a wide margin and has allowed just nine goals on 66 shots. That could spell trouble for a Cardinal offense that finished second-to-last in goals per game in the conference — they were held scoreless in a 2-0 win for the Cavaliers in the regular season.
Finally, the fourth and final game on Tuesday features a team loaded with star power in third-seeded Wake Forest as they face Syracuse. The Demon Deacons nabbed four major awards including Offensive Player (Mia Schoenbeck), Defensive Player (Mia Montag), Freshman (Reabetswe Phume), and Coach of the Year (Jen Averill). The last time these two met was a nailbiter, though, with Wake eking out a 2-1 win in overtime back in mid-September.
Semifinals are set for Wednesday afternoon before the conference’s title game is on Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET. While three teams tied for the regular season title, North Carolina still enters the tournament as the favorite with the No. 1 seed in hand and it remains to be seen whether anyone can dethrone the longtime champions.

The 2025 Atlantic 10 Tournament returns to Crenshaw Field, where top-seeded Richmond hosts No. 2 VCU, No. 3 Saint Joseph’s, and No. 4 Davidson.
After falling to St. Louis in early October, Richmond still went on to earn the top spot and a share of the regular season title with a thrilling 2-1 double overtime victory over VCU to close the season. Junior goalkeeper Amanda Cimillo, the two-time A10 Defensive Player of the Week, made nine saves in that win to secure the Spiders’ first regular season crown since 2015 and the program’s tenth overall. Offensively, Clara Larripa has been the difference, recording 17 goals and eight assists while scoring in each of Richmond’s regular-season wins over the other three tournament teams. The Spiders face a surging Davidson squad on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET in a rematch of another double OT win.
Davidson returns to postseason play for the first time in a decade, following their most recent 5-0 rout of Saint Louis. The Wildcats are led on attack by senior Sib Naaktgeboren, the A10’s leading scorer and new program record holder for both single-season goals (20) and points (46). Goalkeeper Avery Foster, named A10 Rookie of the Week, has been steady in net with three shutouts on the year.
The second semifinal features No. 2 seed VCU and four-time defending champion No. 3 seed Saint Joseph’s. With a matching 5-1 record, VCU shared the regular season title with Richmond, earning their second in program history. The Rams have been paced by Morena Macera’s clutch scoring and Lina Behrmann’s school-record 15 assists. Saint Joseph’s, who has appeared in nine straight A10 title games and in the 2024 NCAA Championship match, enters off a dominant 7-1 win over La Salle and will look to extend its postseason dynasty. This season, VCU took down the Hawks for the first time since spring of 2021, by a narrow 1-0 margin.

Liberty wrapped up the regular season with a 5-0 win over Villanova, claiming its fourth BIG EAST regular-season title in five years and finishing 7-0 in conference play. Redshirt junior Tori Griffiths scored a hat trick, sophomore Avery Pollock added a goal and two assists, and freshman goalkeeper Diane Saint Martin recorded her eighth shutout of the season, matching a program record. Adding to the fun, Dara Semmartin set a new single-season program record with 15 assists.
Reigning champion UConn advanced after a 4-2 comeback win over Quinnipiac, with three goals in the fourth quarter, including the game-winner from Abby Davidson. Old Dominion finished out their season with a BIG EAST win as well, taking down Georgetown 3-1 to secure their semifinal spot.
The match between the Huskies and the Monarchs in the regular season was a tight one. Tied at 1-1 after regulation, it was Sol Simone who was the hero for UConn, notching the game-winner early into the second overtime period.
The final will be played on Sunday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The field is set for the formidable 2025 Big Ten (B1G) Tournament, following the conclusion of conference play last Friday.
Reigning national champion Northwestern claimed the No. 1 seed after securing the B1G regular season title last week, making that the third consecutive for the Wildcats. The tournament field features six ranked teams, including Northwestern (No. 2), Iowa (No. 10), Maryland (No. 11), Michigan (No. 14), Indiana (No. 17), and Rutgers (No. 18).
The quarterfinals kick off Thursday with No. 4 Michigan facing No. 5 Rutgers at 11 a.m. ET. The Wolverines, who own the most B1G titles in conference history with nine, are looking for back-to-back postseason success after capturing the 2024 crown. Michigan defeated Rutgers 2-1 earlier this season thanks to late goals from Juliette Manzur and Abby Tamer, and will aim to replicate that magic. Rutgers enters with a balanced 4-4 mark in conference play, led by Olivia Fraticelli offensively.
Later on Thursday, No. 2 Maryland takes on No. 7 Ohio State. The Terrapins lean on the experience of goalkeeper Alyssa Klebasko, whose 1.01 goals against average ranks third in B1G history, and benefit from young talent such as B1G Freshman of the Year Jordyn Hollamon. Ohio State ended their regular season with four consecutive B1G losses, last dropping to Iowa 3-2 in double overtime. This followed the Buckeye's three-game win streak over Michigan, Penn State, and Maryland.
The final quarterfinal of the day pits No. 3 Iowa against No. 6 Indiana at 5 p.m. ET. Iowa enters with a 12-4 record and the nation’s top goal scorer, Dionne van Aalsum, who has already tallied 26 goals this season. Indiana, finishing 9-8 overall and 4-4 in conference play, will rely on a balanced attack led by Inés Garcia Prado, Mijntje Hagen, and Charlotte Glasper. A win would put the Hoosiers in the B1G semifinals for the first time since 2012. This will be the third meeting of the fall for Iowa and Indiana, with the Hawkeyes winning 3-2 and 3-1 back in September.
Semifinals on Friday feature No. 1 Northwestern against the winner of Michigan and Rutgers at 1:00 p.m. ET, while the second semifinal at 4 p.m. ET will see the winners of Maryland vs Ohio State and Iowa vs Indiana face off. Northwestern will look to extend its 29-game B1G regular-season winning streak. The Wildcats nearly swept the B1G postseason awards, with junior forward Ashley Sessa, who notched four goals in the season finale and ranks just behind van Aalsum in conference points, picking up Offensive Player of the Year. The crew also featured Maddie Zimmer (Player), Ilse Tromp (Defensive Player), Juliana Boon (Goalkeeper), and Tracey Fuchs (Coach).

Claire Campen scored her 11th goal of the season, cementing her spot as the Hawks offensive leader. Monmouth soared to No. 12 this season in the NFHCA Coaches Poll, gaining national recognition with a 12-3 season and ranked win over No. 17 Rutgers. This week, CAA Rookie of the Year Florence Van Doorn earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, while Maia McCourt was named Rookie of the Week.
Northeastern, the No. 2 seed, fell 4-1 to Monmouth in the regular-season finale but will face Drexel in Friday’s semifinal. The Huskies' second CAA loss was 2-1 to Towson, who did not make the tournament. Against Drexel, it was a narrow 1-0 victory, the lone goal scored by senior Emilia Adragna.

No. 1 seed Harvard completed the first perfect regular season in Ivy League history with a 2-1 win over Yale, marking program records for most road wins (11) and victories against ranked opponents (7). Junior forward and Ivy League Offensive Week of the Year Sage Piekarski scored both goals in the finale and leads the league with 12 on the season. Some of the No. 3 nationally ranked Crimson's wins included No. 12 Monmouth, No. 14 UMass, and Ivy League foe No. 5 Princeton. Harvard will face No. 4 seed Brown, which secured its second straight tournament berth after a 3-2 overtime win at Dartmouth. The 10-5 Brown Bears, who sit at No. 19 nationally, lost only to ranked opponents this fall.
The Crimson nearly swept all of the Ivy League honors this fall, seeing Bronte May Brough take Defensive Player, goalkeeper Linde Burger claim Rookie, and the Coaching Staff of the Year. Piekarski was honored as co-Offensive Player of the Year, alongside Princeton's Beth Yeager.
No. 2 seed Princeton enters the postseason on a nine-game winning streak following a 3-0 victory over Columbia. Caitlin Thompson, Pru Lindsey, and Lilly Wojcik each found the cage, while the Tigers limited Columbia to two total shots. Princeton made waves halfway through the season when they defeated No. 2 Northwestern, 3-2, with Olivia Caponiti appearing spectacular in goal.
Princeton will meet No. seed 3 Yale in the second semifinal, a rematch of their regular-season 2-1 win. The Bulldogs had a tight entrance into the Ivy League tournament, just making it in with a 4-3 record. Top-seeded Miami enters seeking its eighth consecutive conference title, edging UMass on a tiebreaker to claim the No. 1 seed. The RedHawks boast one of the nation’s stingiest defenses, allowing just 20 goals all season, anchored by Defensive Player of the Week Berta Mata, who leads the MAC in assists and ranks second nationally in assists per game. Miami awaits the winner of Wednesday’s quarterfinal between host James Madison and fifth-seeded Central Michigan.
Just their second season in the MAC, James Madison is making their second appearance in the tournament, sitting at the No. 4 spot after a tidy three losses to the top three seeds. The Dukes nearly downed UMass but ultimately fell in shootouts, but did defeat their impending opponent Central Michigan, 5-2.
No. 2 seed UMass rides momentum into the postseason after a dominant 7-0 win over Ball State on Senior Day. The Minutewomen, who claimed their first MAC regular-season title their first year in the league after narrowly missing out on the Atlantic 10 title last fall, will face either No. 3 App State or No. 6 Ohio in Thursday’s semifinal.
Coming in at the No. 3 spot is App State, who lost only to Miami and UMass in MAC play. The Mountaineers' have a balanced attack led by Lise Boekaar, the conference leader in assists (19) and total points (45). Meanwhile, No. 6 Ohio returns to the postseason for the first time since 2022 behind standout freshman Tiana Nhamoinesu, who scored in three of the team’s last four games. Earlier this season, App State defeated Ohio, 5-3.
The top two seeds are perched nicely next to each other in the national rankings, with Miami at No. 13 and UMass at No. 14.

In a unique end to the season, fresh additions to the Mountain Pacific Sports Conference (MPSF) Delaware and UC Davis will face off in the inaugural MPSF Championship. UC Davis will host this historic moment, as the two teams will have their first ever meeting in this high-stakes season finale.
Delaware made their departure from the CAA after last fall, where they finished with a trophy after defeating Monmouth in the CAA final and making it to Round Two of the NCAA Tournament. This year, the Blue Hens went for strength of schedule, finishing the year with a sub .500 record but facing opponents like No. 2 Northwestern, No. 6 Wake Forest, and Ohio State. Senior defender Iris Bekker, a staple to the Delaware offensive and defensive lines, was honored as the MPSF Defensive Player of the Year.
UC Davis has seen steady improvement over the past few years, jumping from a 2-14 finish in 2023, to 4-13 and an America East Tournament appearance last season, to six wins this fall. Head coach Austin Pile, now in his fourth season, was honored as the MPSF Coach of the Year. The Aggies picked up a handful of the yearly awards, with redshirt-junior Karly Redman taking Offensive Player of the Year and freshman Addy Collingwood notching Goalkeeper of the Year.

Kira Leclercq tallied two goals in the win, moving to 12 on the season, while sophomore Reese Czajkowski added her tenth. Senior midfielder Nicky Punt set a career-high with three assists in the finale, rounding out a dominant performance by the Orange & Blue. Thursday’s matchups promise high stakes, with American aiming to extend its streak of Patriot League tournament titles, Lafayette looking to defend its crown, and Bucknell hoping to advance past the semifinals for the first time in recent years.
