NORTH CAROLINA vs DUKE | 1 PM ET | STATS | WATCH
Duke and North Carolina renew their storied rivalry on Sunday with a Semifinal berth on the line.
The match marks Duke's 16th all-time NCAA quarterfinal appearance and third straight. The Blue Devils are fresh off a resilient 2–1 comeback win over Iowa, fueled by freshman Juliette Schulten’s first career goal and a game-winner from senior Alaina McVeigh, who now leads the team with 39 points. With seven shutouts and an ACC-best defensive record, Duke has allowed just 11 first-half goals all season and boasts a penalty corner defense efficiency of 85%.
The Tar Heels punched their ticket with a grinding 2–1 win over Saint Joseph’s, dominating possession and shots but needing a fourth-quarter goal from Charly Bruder to break a 1–1 deadlock. Senior captain Ryleigh Heck opened the scoring with her trademark flair, while freshman Isabel Boere came through with a clutch defensive save to protect the lead. UNC averages nearly 4 goals per game—third best in the nation—and enters the matchup seeking its 25th NCAA Semifinal appearance.
Sunday’s showdown at Karen Shelton Stadium will be the third meeting of the season between the ACC rivals and a rematch of last year’s NCAA quarterfinal, also won by North Carolina. With Duke’s defensive discipline and UNC’s explosive attack, one of the sport’s fiercest rivalries promises another classic—with the winner headed to Durham for Championship Weekend.
FINAL: NORTH CAROLINA 2 - 1 DUKE
Host: Princeton
PRINCETON vs SYRACUSE | 1 PM ET | STATS | WATCH
No. 3 Princeton enters Sunday’s NCAA quarterfinals riding a 12-game win streak after defeating Fairfield 3-1 in the First Round. The Tigers got on the board early through Izzy Morgan and secured the win with goals from Beth Yeager and Ella Hampson, outshooting the Stags 16-3. Princeton now looks to reach its second straight Semifinal, on home turf at Bedford Field.
Waiting for them is No. 6 Syracuse, which advanced with a dramatic 2-1 shootout win over Liberty. The Orange, under head coach Lynn Farquhar, are making their fifth straight NCAA appearance and aim for their first semifinal berth since 2015. Syracuse has faced Princeton already this season, winning 3-2 in overtime back in September, and holds a 14-13 edge in the all-time series.
With both teams having defeated top opponents and representing powerhouse conferences, the Ivy League and ACC, Sunday’s rematch promises to be a thriller. A Syracuse win would mark their fifth NCAA semifinal trip and set a new single-season win total in the Farquhar era. Princeton looks to defend home turf and return to the Final Four.
FINAL: PRINCETON 2 - 1 SYRACUSE
Host: Harvard
HARVARD vs UCONN | 1 PM ET | STATS | WATCH
No. 4 Harvard advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the third straight season after a commanding 8-2 win over New Hampshire, the most goals ever scored by the Crimson in an NCAA Tournament game. Now standing 18-1, Harvard has set a new program record for wins in a season and will host UConn at Berylson Field on Sunday at 1 p.m. with a trip to the Semifinal on the line.
Harvard trailed 2-0 early but responded with eight unanswered goals, highlighted by junior Sage Piekarski’s historic hat trick, the first in Crimson NCAA Tournament history. Sophomore Emily Bronckers added two goals, while senior Bronte-May Brough and sophomore Tilly Butterworth led a defense that allowed just nine shots all game. The Crimson dominated penalty corners, converting four times while maintaining relentless offensive pressure.
UConn (13-7) also punched its ticket to the Elite Eight with a 2-0 shutout over Wake Forest, powered by a stellar defensive performance and clutch goalkeeping from Natalie McKenna. Fien Hollander and Julia Bressler scored for the Huskies, who weathered a strong Demon Deacon attack with key penalty corner stops and blocks across all four quarters.
The Crimson and the Huskies met earlier this season on September 14, with Harvard taking a 2-0 victory. Both teams are seeking a return to the national semifinals, Harvard for the second time in three years, UConn for the first time since 2021.
FINAL: HARVARD 1 - UCONN 0
Host: Virginia
NORTHWESTERN vs MIAMI | 1 PM ET | STATS | WATCH
No. 2 Northwestern continues its quest for a national title on Sunday, facing No. 11 Miami (OH) in the NCAA Quarterfinals for a second straight season. The Wildcats, riding an eight-game win streak, dominated No. 12 Yale, 5-1, in Friday’s opener behind a four-goal second half. Junior forward Ashley Sessa leads the nation in points per game (3.32), while goalkeeper Juliana Boon is tops in goals against average (0.61).
Miami is fresh off a historic 2-1 upset over No. 4 Virginia, advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time in program history. Freshman Justina Intzes netted the game-winner, her 20th goal of the season, and fellow first-year star Malena Sabez added her 24th—both leading all freshmen nationally. Miami has won an NCAA Tournament game in five straight seasons and is now closing the gap on college hockey's most esteemed programs.
Northwestern holds a 21-1 all-time record against Miami, including a 5-1 win earlier this season and a 9-2 NCAA First Round victory last year. But this isn’t the same RedHawks team.
FINAL: NORTHWESTERN 3 - 2 MIAMI
