COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey and the NCAA are pleased to share the umpires selected to officiate at the 2025 NCAA Division I, II and III Semifinals and Finals coming up this weekend. These individuals were selected based on their performance throughout the season.

Congratulations to all of the umpires selected for the NCAA Finals!" said Sean Rapaport, USA Field Hockey's Director of Officials. "Over a long, demanding season, you’ve delivered week in and week out with top performances and admirable dedication. Your work at this level matters - when the calls are accurate, clear and consistent, the whole sport benefits. Thanks to you and all the other umpires that have picked up a whistle this fall season for everything you add - you’re a big part of what makes the game of field hockey great.

Selected for the 2025 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship are Erika Barbera (Philadelphia, Pa.), Andrew Estrada (Newtown, Pa.) Gabriel Labate (Miami, Fla.), Katelyn Makovec (Norfolk, Va.) and Brian Tyson (Chesapeake, Va.). The team this year is a blend of different backgrounds, who have all shown their prowess with a whistle.

No stranger to the NCAA stage, Makovec is making her fourth consecutive appearance on the Division I Championship team. Estrada was previously appointed to the Division I Championship in 2022, and was on the Division II squad in 2023 and 2024. Tyson was a part of the Division III team the past two seasons.

Now with three international tournaments under her belt, Barbera is making her NCAA Championship debut. Barbera, Makovec, and Tyson all represented USA this past August at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games (JPAG) in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Bringing his expertise to the NCAA field for the first time this season, Labate boasts an impressive international officiating resume - which includes representing Argentina at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Picked to officiate at the 2025 NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship are Lauren Bruce (St. Louis, Mo.), Amy Daniel (Berwick, Pa.), Andy Derr (Elizabethtown, Pa.), Marisa Miro (Virginia Beach, Va.), and Ameliet Rischen (Odenton, Md.).

Derr last appeared at the 2022 Division III Championship, while Bruce and Rischen were both on the Division III squad last season. Miro has garnered her first NCAA Championship appointment after an active year in the international sphere, where she represented Puerto Rico at events such as JPAG and Junior Pan American Challenge. Daniel is also making her NCAA Championship debut.

Named to officiate at the 2025 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship are Jen Anton (Reading, Pa.), Mallory Federoff (Coraopolis, Pa.), William Lehrmann (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Jerri Lucas (Pontiac, Ill.), and Krissy Woods (Philadelphia, Pa.).

Federoff and Woods were both part of the NCAA Division III squad in 2024, with the former appearing on the Division I squad in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Lehrmann and Lucas were both on the 2024 Division II Championship. Anton returns after being on the 2022 Division III Championship team.
