USA Field Hockey Announces Ten Tom Harris Boys Play Field Hockey Grantees

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey is excited to announce the ten 2025 Tom Harris Boys Play Field Hockey Grantees. Named in honor of field hockey pioneer and USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Tom Harris, this initiative aims to create sustainable “Boys Field Hockey Hot Spots” across the United States, fostering opportunities for boys to play, coach, umpire, and engage as fans of the sport. 

The  Tom Harris Boys Play Field Hockey Grant was established earlier this year through the generosity of the U.S. Men’s Hockey Foundation and the Grewal Family Foundation. In 2025, grants are being awarded to ten organizations across the country. Grantees will receive both financial support and networking opportunities, working with USA Field Hockey to drive growth and opportunities.

“USA Field Hockey is greatly appreciative of the support of the U.S. Men’s Foundation and the Grewal Family Foundation in funding this grant,” stated Sally Goggin, USA Field Hockey’s National Development Director. “We had ten outstanding applicants, and the committee’s insistence on funding all ten shows their enthusiastic commitment to supporting leaders of boys’ hockey everywhere. We look forward to working with all grantees to increase opportunities for boys to play and develop.”
