TAMPA, Fla. - The first day of the 2022 National Hockey Festival, at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay in Tampa, Fla., kicked off with so much to be grateful for - nice weather, fun atmosphere and tons of good field hockey.

Although the day started out with a bit of fog, it settled on overcast to cover the athletes as they competed in their respective divisions.

Many already got a start on completing their Festival Passport, which can only be done by partaking in a series of interactive tasks. It’s only a matter of time before someone claims a prize!

Tomorrow promises more great, competitive play. It will also include festivities for USA Field Hockey’s 100-Year Birthday Bash. Those at the venue are strongly encouraged to stop by Vendor Village from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET to join in on the fun.
