Team USA at the PAHF Hockey5s Pan American Cups

In just over one month, the 2023 Hockey5s Pan American Cups (PAC) will be held at the Jamaica Hockey Federation Turf in Kingston, Jamaica. The Hockey5s PAC is a continental qualifier for the inaugural International Hockey Federation (FIH) Hockey5s World Cup, set to be played in January 2024. The U.S. Men’s and Women’s Hockey5s Teams will both be participating in this qualifier in hopes of clinching a spot and becoming a part of history in this first-ever Hockey5s World Cup.
The Hockey5s PAC is an international continental field hockey competition for men and women organized by the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF). This event for men and women is the continental qualifier for the FIH Hockey5s World Cup.
The first ever FIH Hockey5s World Cup is slated to be held in Muscat, Oman in January 2024. The World Cup will feature sixteen men’s and sixteen women’s teams from the five continental federations. In addition to the host nation, the top three teams from each of the five continental qualifiers will be eligible for the Hockey5s World Cup.

The U.S. Men’s and Women’s Hockey5s Teams have been preparing for this upcoming qualifier. Team selections, trainings and preparations are currently underway. Following a recent training camp held in April, the men’s Hockey5s roster is expected to be announced in the coming week. The women’s roster will be announced following their training camp in Durham, N.C., set to take place later this month.
The USMNT will be led by Head Coach Harry Singh and assisted by Will Holt. The staff will include physiologist Jarret Welsch and manager Kathy Schiller. The women’s squad will be coached by Rachel Dawson, while assisted and managed by Melissa Gonzalez. Cheree Ladevaia will join the staff as physiologist. Caitlin van Sickle will be the videographer for both the men and women.
