After participating in a gym class field hockey unit, Webster started playing and her teacher told her to try out for the local club because she coached there. She has been playing ever since.

Played two season if ice hockey at the University of Wisconsin, helping the Badgers to the 2021 National Championship and being named the Frozen Four's Most Outstanding Player. Is a dual-athlete at Ohio State University, playing both ice and field hockey. In the 2023-24 season she helped the Buckeyes to the 2024 National Championship and was a member of the Frozen Four All-Tournament Team.
