  • Dr. Judith Davidson

    Dr. Judith Davidson, who, after elevating the University of Iowa into a national powerhouse in field hockey, became the first female in the nation to be named an Athletic Director of an NCAA Division I program, is being inducted as a Contributor. Dr. Davidson served as president of USA Field Hockey from 1984 to 1992 and held various roles for the then-named U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC), International Hockey Federation (FIH), and Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) during her illustrious career.

  • Tom Harris

    Tom Harris, the founder of the California Cup and a former president of the Field Hockey Association of America (FHAA), is being inducted as a Contributor. Harris started the California Cup in 1972 and has seen it blossom into one of the largest tournaments in the world. He has played a significant role in the support and development of the men’s game in the United States.

  • Beverly Johnson

    Beverly Johnson, a California native who served as the president of the United States Field Hockey Association (USFHA) from 1980 to 1984, is being inducted as a Contributor. As head of the USFHA organization during the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games, Johnson had the opportunity to see the USA women win their first Olympic medal in a thrilling stroke-off that catapulted the team to glory. It was even more special to have it happen in Los Angeles, where Johnson had devoted her life to the sport.

  • Jen Shillingford

    Jen Shillingford, who helped launch a symposium designed to mentor and develop women as professionals in athletics, is being inducted as a Contributor. She served as USFHA President from 1992 to 2000, starting her presidential term while also serving as head coach and athletic director at Bryn Mawr College, a position she held for over 20 years.

  • Sharon Taylor

    Sharon Taylor, who won seven national championships while coaching at Lock Haven University and also served as president of USA Field Hockey, is being inducted as a Contributor. A multi-sport student-athlete and multi-sport coach at Lock Haven, Taylor is a former member of the USOC and was the driving force behind the creation of the national collegiate championships, which started in 1975.
