USMNT to Travel to China for 3-Nations Tournament in August

HANGZHOU, China – The No. 22 U.S. Men’s National Team will travel to Hangzhou, China for a 3-Nations Tournament against No. 9 South Korea and No. 24 China from August 15 to 26. Taking place at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium, this series will include six games for the Wolves and be used as preparation for the 2023 Pan American Games.

“As we embark on this incredible journey to China, we embrace the spirit of camaraderie and competition that will provide us to test ourselves prior to the [Pan American Games],” said Harry Singh, USMNT Head Coach. “It will be litmus test for us, where we are likely to see how far we reached after mix result in our Europe tour. Our encounters with the formidable teams of China and South Korea will be thrilling tests of skill, strategy and determination.” “

Head Coach Singh will be joined by assistant coaches Harris and Jun Kentwell, video analyst Alex Gray, manager Kathy Schiller and physiotherapist Dr. Jarret Welsh.

It is still being determined if these matches will be FIH Sanctioned and/or live streamed.
