Indoor USMNT to Compete in 2024 Big Apple International Indoor Championship

SPRING CITY, Pa. – The U.S. Men’s National Indoor Team will compete this weekend, March 1 to 3, 2024, at the Big Apple International Indoor Championship, an International Hockey Federation (FIH) Sanctioned Event. Taking place at The Training Center, the event format includes three divisions of collegiate, men and women where a champion will be crowned in each.

"We are excited to compete at this year’s Big Apple tournament," said Jason Mulder, Indoor USMNT Head Coach. "An event that is instrumental in our squads development. As a squad our focus is to continue where we left off at the National Indoor Tournament (NIT) this past weekend. It’s our final opportunity as a group before we head off to Calgary so our focus is performing under pressure this coming weekend. I’m happy with the style of play from the guys. The new additions to the squad have done particularly well in finding their roles within the team and the juniors really impressed me this weekend."

The roster for the Big Apple International Indoor Championship includes a mix of athletes recently named to compete at the 2024 Indoor Pan American Cup (IPAC) and some wihtin the senior and junior men's program.

Alex Beauduin (Princeton, N.J.), Zane Boler ( Lewisberry, Pa.), Koehl Comiskey (Dallas, Pa.), Christian DeAngelis (Doylestown, Pa.), Ajai Dhadwal (Agoura Hills, Calif.), Jeroen Dijkema (Houston, Texas), Alex Grassi (Brookeville, Md.), Barry Merriman (Washington, D.C.), James Polashock (Hainsport, N.J.), Jack Weitzman (Fulton, Md.)

The group will be lead by Mulder and managed by Kathy Schiller.
