Staff Announces Women’s 2025 Junior Pan American Games Roster
ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay – U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team Head Coach Ange Bradley and staff have named the 16-athlete roster and two reserves that will compete in the women’s 2025 Junior Pan American Games (JPAG). Taking place August 9 to 23 at The Olympic Park in Asunción, Paraguay, this is the first edition of the event where the sport of field hockey will be included.

The two reserves are Julianna Boon (Houston, Texas) and Opal Sparling (Chester, Springs Pa.)(traveling).
Bradley will lead the squad, with Manuel Garcia Nieto as the assistant coach, Stefanie Fee as the team manager and Hannah Jaussen as the athletic trainer.
The Junior Pan American Games are a multi-sport event held every four years among youth athletes from all over the American continent. The Games have been organized by PanAm Sports. This event, inspired by the Youth Olympic Games, is exclusively for athletes under 21 years of age, with fewer infrastructure requirements and costs than the Pan American Games.
The Pan American Games started in 1951 and spawned the Junior Pan American Games, aimed at promoting young athletes. The first edition was held in 2021 in Cali, Colombia, marking an important milestone for the sport in the continent.
The squad will have a training camp August 5 to 7 in Charlotte, N.C. and will depart for Paraguay on August 7. Once on ground they will have training August 8, 9 and 10. Games will take place August 11 to 19.
