USA Field Hockey & Ocean City, Maryland Announce new partnership with the addition of National Indoor Festival, Ocean City

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, with the installation of an additional National Indoor Festival. This exciting event, scheduled for December 19 to 21, aims to provide young athletes with an opportunity to learn, play, and develop their indoor field hockey skills in a fun and competitive environment.
Ocean City, known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant community, offers an ideal setting for this youth-focused tournament. The event will take place at the state-of-the-art Rolland E. Powell Convention Center, providing participants with a top-notch location and amenities.
“We are excited to bring this new event to Ocean City,” said Madeline Hoeppner, USA Field Hockey’s Director of Events. “Our goal is to create a memorable experience for young athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game. Ocean City's commitment to sports and its welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect location for this Festival.”
The National Indoor Festival feature age divisions for U-10 Co-Ed, U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Co-Ed, U-14 Girls, U-16 Girls, U-19 Girls and U-19 Boys teams, with a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In addition to the on-court action, families can enjoy all that Ocean City has to offer, from its famous boardwalk and beaches to a variety of dining and entertainment options.

Powell Convention Center from December 19 to 21,” said Chip Woytowitz, Town of Ocean City’s Sports Marketing and Events Manager. “This exciting collaboration marks the beginning of a valuable relationship that will introduce Ocean City to a new audience of athletes and spectators, with more than 4,000 attendees expected at this premier event."
Registration for the National Indoor Festival, Ocean City will open on Wednesday, September 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
