Serrette Appointed as WMH Representative for 2025 WMH Pan American Championships
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is proud to share that Alva Serrette has been appointed by World Masters Hockey (WMH) as the WMH Representative for the upcoming 2025 WMH Pan American Championships. The event will take place in Asunción, Paraguay, from September 21 to 30.
Serrette’s selection reflects his longstanding commitment to the Masters hockey community and his continued leadership in promoting the sport’s growth and development. He previously served as the Hockey Competition Manager at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
As WMH Representative, Serrette will serve as the primary liaison between the WMH Executive Board and the host nation organizing committee, ensuring the event is executed in line with WMH policies, procedures, and values. His responsibilities will include venue inspections, coordination with officials, overseeing match operations, supporting host services, leading regional meetings, managing media updates, and submitting post-event reports.
This voluntary position reflects WMH’s mission to lead and grow Masters hockey by providing world-class tournament experiences that are inclusive, transparent, and community focused. Serrette’s leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of this upcoming event.
