USA Field Hockey Opens Nominations for 2026 Hall of Fame

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey is excited to announce that the nomination period is now open for the 2026 USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame. Since its establishment in 1988, the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame has recognized individuals who have achieved success internationally and made significant contributions to the organization.
The USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame includes the categories of Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Contributors.
- Athletes – awarded to USA Field Hockey athletes for their on-field achievement, innovation and contributions to the sport internationally
- Coaches – awarded to USA Field Hockey coaches for their on-field achievement, innovation and contributions to the sport internationally
- Officials – awarded to USA Field Hockey officials for their on-field achievement, innovation and contributions to the sport internationally
- Contributor – awarded to members of the association who have given long and exceptional service to USA Field Hockey and have made significant contributions to the sport in the United States or internationally
Nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame will be accepted through Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Following the nomination closing date, applicants will be reviewed for fact checking and make vetted recommendations will be made to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The Selection Committee, appointed by the USA Field Hockey Board of Directors and comprised of member volunteers, will review all Hall of Fame applications. Inductees will be announced on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
USA Field Hockey welcomes all qualified nominations and looks forward to a large and diverse candidate pool. Those interested in nominating can do so by clicking the link below to submit a nomination by Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

September 8, 2025: Nomination period opens.
October 1, 2025: Nomination period closes.
October 2-12, 2025: Nominations reviewed for fact checking.
October 13, 2025: Nominations submitted to Hall of Fame Committee for review.
November 18, 2025: Hall of Fame Committee finalizes inductees.
November 25, 2025: Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced on USA Field Hockey's website.
January 2026: Individual biographies on each inductee shared on USA Field Hockey’s website.
