Indoor USMNT Finish Sixth at 2026 Rohrmax Cup
VIENNA, Austria – The No. 15 U.S. Men’s National Team fell to No. 10 Czechia in their final match of the 2026 Rohrmax Cup, closing out the tournament with a sixth place finish.
Czechia showed off their offensive prowess in the opening frame, scoring three consecutive goals in the first five minutes to take a 3-0 lead. USA responded by earning the first penalty corner of the match in the sixth minute, and converting off a flick from Mehtab Grewal.
Czechia kept up on the attack in the second, testing the USA defense and calling goalkeeper Amar Singh into action several times. This frame saw two goals for Czechia, as they took a 5-1 lead over the Wolves heading into halftime.
In the final two quarters, Czechia added six more goals, while USA was unable to find the back of the net again. Czechia finished with an 11-1 victory and the fifth place spot, while USA finished sixth.
