Junior USWNT Staff Names 2026 U-16 & U-18 National Teams
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Following a 3-day training camp this past weekend in Charlotte, N.C., the Junior U.S. Women’s National Team coaches have named the 2026 U.S. U-16 and U-18 Women's National Teams. All athletes named to the U-16 or U-18 USWNT will attend the next training camp from February 13 to 15, 2026 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to compete for selection to an April travel roster. At the March 20 to 22, 2026 camp, athletes who were named to the travel roster will train in preparation for their respective tournaments.
The U-16 Red travel roster will be led on tour by U-16 Head Coach Tamara Durante. They will play four games in a 4 Nations Tournament at HOD Valkenswaard in Valkenswaard, and Netherlands.. The game schedule will be released as soon as it’s received from tournament organizers, but it is confirmed that the teams entered in the tournament are Belgium, England, and the Netherlands. The team will be on tour from March 30 to April 7, 2026.
“This group earned their place through a strong showing at camp, demonstrating consistency, competitiveness, and a willingness to push themselves and each other,” said Durante. “Being named to the U-16 USWNT is an important milestone, but the work continues as we prepare for international competition. Our focus now is on building cohesion, raising our standards, and getting ready to compete in the Netherlands.”

The teams in this tournament are U-16 and U-18 national teams from Belgium, England, France, Netherlands, Scotland, and USA. The game schedule will be released as soon as it’s received from tournament organizers. The team will be on tour from March 30 to April 7, 2026.
The U-18 White Team will be led on tour by U-18 Head Coach Jamie Montgomery. They will play four games in a 6 Nations Tournament, taking place in Tonbridge, England. The teams in this tournament are U-18 national teams from Belgium, England, Netherlands, Scotland, USA, and Wales. The game schedule will be released as soon as it’s received from tournament organizers. The team will be on tour from March 30 to April 7, 2026.
