USA Field Hockey Hiring Social Media Content Creator Intern

USA Field Hockey is hiring a Social Media Content Creator Intern for summer 2026.

The role of this internship is to support USA Field Hockey’s brand awareness efforts by creating videos to be posted on official social media channels, mainly Instagram and TikTok. The intern must be a creative individual, who is up to date on current social media language and trends. The intern must be proficient using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and a video editing platform (i.e., Adobe Rush, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, TikTok, or Instagram Reels.) The intern ideally will be based in the Charlotte, N.C. area, as they are expected to travel to the UNC Charlotte facility to capture content.

The focus of the video content will be the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams, at their training facility in Charlotte, N.C. Additional content may cover any range of field hockey in the United States including youth, club, college, adult, masters, etc.


Responsibilities

  • Capture content of the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams on site at the training facility in Charlotte, N.C.
  • Create a minimum of two (2) videos/reels per month (four-week block)
  • Coordinate with USA Field Hockey’s Marketing & Communications Department

Location

The intern ideally will be based in the Charlotte, N.C. area, as they are expected to travel to the UNC Charlotte facility to capture content. Aside from content capture, the intern may complete tasks (i.e., editing videos) remotely.

Duration

This is a 14-week long internship which begins April 24, 2026, and ends July 31, 2026.

Compensation

The intern will receive a bi-weekly stipend of $100, for a total of $700. Expenses (i.e., travel costs, parking, etc.) will not be reimbursed.
