2026 Junior Pan American Cups Schedule Revealed
SANTIAGO, Chile – With less than a month to go until the start of competition, the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) has revealed the competition schedule for the 2026 Junior Pan American Cups. Taking place April 6 to 18 at the National Stadium Sports Park in Santiago, Chile, this men's and women's event is a qualifier for the 2027 FIH Hockey Junior World Cups (JWC).
The countries participating in the men’s competition are No. 3 Argentina, No. 16 Canada, No. 20 Chile, No. 29 USA, No. 34 Brazil, No. 36 Mexico, and Venezuela. On the women’s side is No. 2 Argentina, No. 4 USA, No. 16 Uruguay, No. 18 Chile, No. 21 Canada, and No. 34 Mexico.

At the 2024 Junior Pan American Championships, the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team took home silver for the fourth time in history, after falling to Argentina, 3-1, in the final. The second place finish secured them a spot at the 2025 FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup, where they claimed 6th in the world - their highest-ever finish. The Junior USWNT has won JPAC gold twice, in 2008 and 2023; took home silver in 1988, 2000, 2005, 2016, and 2024; and claimed bronze in 1997, 2012 and 2021.
The U.S. U-21 Men’s National Team will be looking for double redemption after finishing fourth at both the 2023 and 2024 JPAC, narrowly missing out on two JWC qualifications. In 2024, the Junior Wolves fell in heartbreaking fashion to Chile in a shootout, 3-2. In the history of JPAC, the Junior USMNT has brought home bronze twice, in 2008 and 2021.
In preparation for the upcoming JPAC, the U-21 USMNT will have a training camp March 29 to April 1 in Charlotte, N.C., and will depart for Santiago, Chile on April 1. Once on ground they will train from April 2 through 5. The U-21 USWNT held Selection Camps in December, February, and March - where the final squad was named - and will depart April 3.
The top three men's teams and top four women's teams from the 2026 JPAC will qualify for the 2027 JWC.
