USWNT WRAPPED UP 2020-21 FIH HOCKEY PRO LEAGUE IN EUROPE
The No. 15 U.S. Women's National Team finished up their 2020-21 FIH Hockey Pro League games in Europe on May 23.

In their first game since February 2020 and first under the leadership of head coach Anthony Farry, the No. 15 USWNT withstood a well-balanced attack from No. 12 Belgium. After a scoreless first quarter, the Red Panthers tallied once in each of the remaining frames to defeat USA, 0-3. In game two, they were met by a strong scoring performance where six goals across the second and third quarters propelled Belgium over USA, 1-6.

Next the USWNT traveled to London, England, where they met reigning Olympic Champions No. 5 Great Britain for two games. USA held an experienced Team GB until the end of the first quarter in the opening match before the hosts capitalized on multiple scoring chances and turnovers to defeat USA, 1-5. In the second meeting, Team GB possessed much of the game and again
capitalized to defeat USA, 0-5.

"INTRO TO FIELD HOCKEY": SCOUTS GOLD AWARD PROJECT
At my high school in New Jersey, field hockey is definitely not the most popular sport. But it is my favorite and one of my greatest passions, which is why I decided to dedicate my Gold Award Project toward getting more younger girls into the sport.
