VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - On Wednesday, 71 male athletes across four teams and 162 female athletes across ten teams will compete in the 2021 Young Men’s and Women’s National Championship at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. Taking place Tuesday, June 15 through Sunday, June 20, this event will feature the top athletes in the country in their respective divisions competing to be crowned national champions.

As the squads begin their quest, here’s everything you need to know about this year’s event!

Selection Opportunity

The Young Men’s National Championship (YMNC) serves as the initial selection opportunity for the 2021-22 U.S. U-16, U-18, U-21/22 Men’s National teams.

The Young Women’s National Championship (YWNC) serves as the initial selection opportunity for the 2021-22 U.S. U-21/22 and Women’s National Development Teams. Athletes will also be evaluated for the senior U.S. Women’s National Team.
