Introducing Nexus, USA Field Hockey's new and improved Olympic Development Pathway Program.

Nexus, presented by Harrow Sports, is designed to help players take their game to the next level and develop the next generation of elite players and future U.S. Olympians. Whether a player's goal is to make their high school team, play in college, achieve peak performance or represent Team USA in the Olympic Games, Nexus is for them.

To close out Black History Month, USA Field Hockey is honoring and celebrating Black athletes, umpires, coaches and members contributing to and making a difference in the sport. It is the organization's goal to normalize diversity in the game and what better way to do that than to spotlight and celebrate those minority athletes, coaches and umpires that continue to give back to the sport we love.
In an effort to make field hockey an accessible and inclusive sport for all, a sport for life, USA Field Hockey formed a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee in August 2020.

The DEI Committee’s goal is to ensure field hockey is physically, mentally and emotionally safe for all and to provide leadership, structure and programming to achieve the mission to Grow the Game, Serve Members and Succeed Internationally.

The 2021 National Indoor Tournament (NIT), presented by YOLO Sportswear, has come and gone and it was great to get back to playing. This year was unlike any other with many policies and mandates in place, but USA Field Hockey would like to thank all participating athletes, coaches, umpires and fans for their compliance to help make each weekend successful. Click below for a recap and photo gallery from each age division at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa. and the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Va.

Congratulations to all of this year's NIT Pool Champions!

IT'S HERE, COLLEGE SEASON 2020V2

Many have waited more than a year to get back to the playing field. They’ve trained, conditioned, lifted and bonded, in hopes that this time would come.

This month, the official college season 2020v2 began for teams that will play in-conference, with a few out of conference games.

DISCOVER FIELD HOCKEY CLINICS COMING TO MICHIGAN

Three Discover Field Hockey Clinics will take place across the state of Michigan in March and April. These 90-minute introductory clinics are for boys and girls who have never participated in or have had limited exposure to the sport. Boys and girls will learn from trained coaches from local schools, clubs and recreational programs in the area. The clinic also provides boys and girls with a fun, active and learner-centered approach to the game.

These clinics will follow Michigan safety guidelines. Athletes, coaches and participants must wear masks and work to keep 6-feet of distance, when possible. Click below for information on each offering.

"BEHIND THE WHISTLE" INDOOR SCENARIOS
USA Field Hockey has been sharing indoor scenarios in the “Behind the Whistle” series throughout the season. These scenarios are designed to help the entire field hockey community better understand rules and rule application.
