Another weekend and even more college field hockey to follow! With 71 games (schedule subject to change) taking place this weekend and the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Quarterfinals starting on March 30.

DI: Albany vs. UC Davis | 12:00 p.m. ET | AE.TV

To start the weekend full of games, Albany (2-1, 1-0 AE) will host UC Davis (1-3, 0-2 AE) in New York for an America Eat (AE) match-up.

The Great Danes are coming off their second consecutive win and shutout, after defeating New Hampshire 1-0 last weekend. New Hampshire started the game with the only shot of the first quarter while Albany tallied their first midway through the second frame. Even with six shots a piece on the game, UAlbany scored the game winner in the 44th minute for the upset. Sophomore Julie Rodijk earned America East Defensive Player of the Week by leading the UAlbany defensive unit in the shutout.

The Aggies opened up AE play last weekend when they traveled to the East Coast to take on New Hampshire on Sunday and UMass Lowell on Tuesday. Against the Wildcats, despite going toe-to-toe with their opponent, UC Davis fell 0-2. Following a defensive battled against the Riverhawks that produced an even shot margin at 15 to 12, with UC Davis ahead in penalty corners 8 to 1., it was UMass-Lowell who won in a shootout.

These teams last played in 2018, where Albany came out on top 1-0.

DI: Merrimack vs. Wagner | 1:00 p.m. ET | NEC Front Row

A Northeast Conference (NEC) game that features Merrimack (0-2, 0-1 NEC) and Wagner (1-1, 1-0 NEC) in North Andover, Mass.

The Warriors have yet to win a game, as they most recently lost to Rider, 0-7. Rider got off to a good start, scoring four goals in the opening 15 minutes. They extended that lead by one in the second frame before adding two more in the third.

The Seahawks last played Monday, where they defeated and captured their first win over NEC opponent Sacred Heart, 2-1. Wagner, who outshot the Pioneers 14-9, went ahead 1-0 in the first frame. Sacred Heart responded less than two minutes later, while the Wagner defense didn't allow another shot the rest of the half. The second half started slowly but the Seahawks netted the game-winner in the 37th minute.

Last playing in November 2019, Wagner won the match 5-0.

DI: LIU vs. Fairfield | 2:00 p.m. ET | NEC Front Row

LIU (0-1, 0-1 NEC) and Fairfield (3-0, 1-0 NEC) will got head-to-head in a Northeast Conference (NEC) game in Brookville, N.Y.

The Sharks dropped a close one to Rider in their season opener. The Broncs scored midway through the first period to go up 1-0, but despite outshooting LIU, 10-3, they did not score again in the contest.

The Stags are currently undefeated, notching three wins so far. They are coming off a 1-0 win over Sacred Heart in double overtime last week, before their game on Monday against Bryant was postponed. Scoreless throughout the game and first overtime period, Fairfield broke through 30 seconds into the second overtime.

These program's have only ever played against each other once, with Fairfield winning that meeting 6-0.

DI: Lock Haven vs. No. 20 UMass | 3:00 p.m. ET | YouTube

An Atlantic 10 (A10) meeting that will feature Lock Haven (1-0, 1-0 A10) and No. 20 Massachusetts (4-1, 0-0 A10). A game that was previous postponed on the year.

The Bald Eagles opened their season last Friday when they took on La Salle. All the scoring was done in the first quarter, with Lock Haven converting two goals and La Salle scoring just one. It was enough to decide that game as the Bald Eagles won the hard fought match, 2-1.

The Minutewomen's last contest against No. 15 Saint Joseph's was postponed. Before that, they are coming off a two-win non-conference weekend over Maine (2-1) and UMass Lowell (2-1). In the most recent win, Massachusetts and UMass both scored in the second game before sophomore Jess Beech, previous A10 Offensive Player of the Week, scored the go-ahead and game-winner in the third.

Of their last ten meetings, Massachusetts has won nine, with the most recent coming in 2019 by a score of 3-0.

DIII: Utica vs. St. John Fisher | 4:00 p.m. ET | Pioneers All-Access 

Utica College Field Hockey Athlete

A season opener and Empire 8 game for both Utica and St. John Fisher will happen on Thursday in New York.

The Pioneers went 8-11 overall and 6-1 in the Empire 8 in 2019, having their season end in the Empire 8 Tournament. The Cardinal were 15-5 and 7-0 in the Empire 8, before dropping a heartbreaking double overtime loss in the Empire 8 Semifinals.

In their last meeting in 2019, St. John Fisher won, 3-0.

DIII: Houghton vs. Elmira | 5:00 p.m. ET | Video

A game that was supposed to take place on March 18, Houghton (0-1, 0-1 Empire 8) will welcome Elmira to New York.

The Eagles are coming off a thrilling double overtime loss to Empire 8 opponent Hartwick last Sunday. It took 79 minutes for the match to be decided as both teams couldn't capitalize on shots. Hartwick outshot Houghton, 31 to 5, and produced 10 penalty corners to the Eagles 4. Goalkeeper Sofia Gildenmeister was strong in goal, stopping 10 shots in the loss, to earn Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week.

This marks the season opener for the Highlanders who went 6-11 overall and 2-4 in the Empire 8 in 2019.

The last time these teams played, Houghton claimed the 1-0 win in September 2019.

DI: William & Mary vs. Drexel | 5:30 p.m. ET | Video

A Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) match-up will feature William & Mary (0-1, 0-1 CAA) against Drexel (2-1, 1-0 CAA) in Williamsburg, Va.

The Tribe are coming off a 0-4 defeat at the hands of CAA opponent James Madison.  Although they had good possession through the midfield, they were unable to break through on the offensive end as the hosts Dukes put up four goals.

On Sunday, the Dragons defeated CAA team Hofstra, 2-1, in a close contest. Hofstra took the lead in the first quarter and it wouldn't be until the third frame until Drexel responded. Locked at 1-1, Drexel rallied to score the game-winner in the fourth quarter. Freshman Elina Di Leva was named CAA Rookie of the Week for leading the Dragon to a 1-0 conference start by scoring both goals in the win over Hofstra.

They have split the results of the last ten meetings, with William & Mary claiming the most recent, 3-2.

DI: No. 17 Old Domion vs. No. 4 Liberty | 11:00 a.m. ET | Monarch All-Access

No. 17 Old Dominion (4-3, 4-2 BIG EAST) and No. 4 Liberty (9-1, 7-1 BIG EAST) will meet in a BIG EAST match-up in Norfolk, Va.

The Monarchs' last game took place on March 7, with that opponent being Liberty. Still at 4-3 on the year, they have gathered wins over Temple (x2) and Villanova (x2), while falling to Virginia Commonwealth and Liberty (x2).

The Lady Flames are coming off a thrilling double overtime win over non-conference No. 14 Duke. Liberty faced an early 2-0 deficit, as the Blue Devils scored twice in the first 3 minutes of the match. That lead was cut in the 12th minute and the game was evened late in the third quarter. The game-winner came in the 77th minute off a penalty corner. Goalkeeper Azul Iritxity Irigoyen was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week for making 12 saves in 76 minutes against Duke.

Head-to-head, Liberty has won six of their last ten meetings, winning in 2019, 2-0.

DI: Kent State vs. Appalachian State | 12:00 p.m. ET | Boxcast

Kent State (3-1, 1-1 MAC) and Appalachian State (3-3, 2-2 MAC) will play in a Mid-American Conference (MAC) game Friday afternoon in Ohio.

The Flash are coming off a two win weekend, defeating Bellarmine 8-0 on Friday and 7-0 on Sunday. Six different goal scorers contributed over the two games, as Kent State went on to earn an impressive 57 shots, to 10, and 22 penalty corners, to 1. Senior Clara Rodriguez was named MAC Offensive Player of the Week for totaling 9 shots, 4 goals and 2 assists.

The Mountaineers had a split result weekend against Central Michigan, falling in double overtime on Saturday 2-3 and winning on Sunday 6-1. The victory saw six different goal scorers surge to help Appalachian State bounce-back for the conference win.

These teams last played in October 2019, where Kent State won 3-0.

DI: Ball State vs. Longwood | 12:00 p.m. ET

Ball State (2-4, 2-2 MAC) will welcome Longwood (2-3, 1-3 MAC) to Muncie, Ind. for the first of two Mid-American Conference (MAC) games.

The Cardinal are coming off a split results against Ohio, winning on Friday 2-1 and losing Saturday 1-2. In the win, Ball State was able to withstand the pressure and hold off the Bobcats in the final 10 minutes for the victory. Senior Audrey Tabor helped control the backfield and for her efforts was named MAC Defensive Player of the Week.

After starting the season 2-0, Longwood fell in their last three contests. Last weekend, they hosted and were defeated by No. 18 Miami, 1-2 and 1-3. Tied 1-1 over 43 minutes into the game, the Red Hawks blasted a shot through traffic to take a 2-1 lead. Miami scored off a penalty stroke to extend the score and secure the win.

The last time these teams played was in October 2019, where Ball State claimed an overtime 2-1 win.

DI: UMass Lowell vs. Monmouth | 12:00 p.m. ET

UMass Lowell (4-2, 2-1 AE) will travel to West Long Branch, N.J. to take on Monmouth (4-2, 2-1 AE) in an America East (AE) contest.

The Riverhawks are coming off a thrilling 1-0 shootout win over UC Davis on Tuesday. Scoreless through 80 minutes of on-field play, it was a defensive battle that saw UC Davis lead in shots 15 to 12, as well as penalty corners 8 to 1. Locked at 1-1 after the first four shootout rounds, UMass-Lowell converted on the fifth, and goalkeeper Eleonore Boekhorst knocked the ball loose from the Aggies.

The Hawks are coming off a 3-0 victory against California on Wednesday. Monmouth had three different goal scorers in the win and did not surrender a shot on goal.

In their history, these teams have only played once, with Monmouth winning 3-1.

DI: Maine vs. Vermont | 1:00 p.m. ET

Another America East (AE) match will feature Maine (2-2, 2-0 AE) and Vermont (0-4, 0-2 AE) in Orone, Maine.

The Black Bears completed an AE sweep in their first weekend of conference play, defeating UMass Lowell (3-2) on Friday and California (1-0) on Saturday. In the second game, a goal in the 9th minute ended up being the game-winner as the stats showed a tight contest. Maine lead in shots 9 to 6 and penalty corners 7 to 6. Freshman Poppy Lambert was named America East Rookie of the Week for scoring in both games, and for tallying the lone goal against California.

The Catamounts were unable to defeat AE teams Monmouth and Stanford last weekend.The 0-1 and 0-3 results, saw Vermont produce eight shots and four penalty corners across both games.

Their most recent meeting in 2019, was a close contest, where Maine won 2-1.

DI: No. 5 Northwestern vs. Ohio State | 2:00 p.m. ET | BTN+ ($)

No. 5 Northwestern (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) and Ohio State (0-5, 0-5) will meet in Evanston, Ill. for a Big Ten match-up.

The Wildcats split results last weekend to No. 6 Michigan. On Saturday, they fell 2-3, and on Monday, won 1-0 in overtime. After working her way to an opening in the circle, freshman Maddie Zimmer converted a missile to seal the overtime win.

A rough start to the 2020v2 season for the Buckeyes, they have yet to win a game so far. Ohio State is coming off two defeats last weekend, both to No. 2 Iowa and both by the score of 1-2. In the most recent game, a late rally by Ohio State and goal in the fourth frame wasn't enough to answer to Iowa's two first quarter goals.

These teams last met in September 2019, where Northwestern came out on top 4-1.

DI: VCU vs. Davidson | 3:00 p.m. ET 

The first Atlantic 10 game on Friday will feature Virginia Commonwealth (3-0, 2-0 A10) and Davidson (3-3, 1-1 A10) in Richmond, Va.

Undefeated on the year, the Rams most recently defeated A10 opponent Saint Louis, 4-0, on Sunday. VCU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the contest and allowed just eight total shots in their win. Freshman Bridget McCormick was named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for scoring two goals including the game winner against Saint Louis.

Sitting at .500 so far, the Wildcats are coming off a 0-1 loss to Richmond. After a scoreless first half, Richmond managed to find the back of the goal at the 30:55-mark for the ultimate game winner. Davidson had a 5 to 3 shot-on-goal advantage, while Richmond threatened with eight penalty corner's to the Wildcats' four.

In 2019, VCU won the match-up, 3-1.

Another Atlantic 10 game will take place between Richmond (1-1, 1-1 A10) and Saint Louis (3-5, 0-2 A10) just down the road.

Last weekend, the Spiders collected their first win over Davidson. After a scoreless first half, Richmond managed to find the back of the goal at the 30:55-mark for the ultimate game winner. Davidson had a 5 to 3 shot-on-goal advantage, while Richmond threatened with eight penalty corner's to the Wildcats' four. Sophomore Erika Latta earned Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week honors for recording a career-high five saves against Davidson.

The Billikens are coming off a 0-4 loss to Virginia Commonwealth. VCU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the contest and allowed just eight total shots in their win.

DI: No. 8 Connecticut vs. Quinnipiac | 3:00 p.m. ET | Live Stats

No. 8 Connecticut (5-1, 4-1 BIG EAST) and Quinnipiac (2-3, 2-3 BIG EAST) will face-off in in the first of their two BIG EAST contests, one taking place in Hamden and the other Storrs.

The Huskies' most recent non-conference game against No. 15 Saint Joseph's was postponed. Prior to that they defeated Quinnipiac 6-0 behind the efforts of a Sophie Hamilton hat trick. She was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts.

On Sunday, the Bobcats defeated BIG EAST Providence, 2-0, for the season time in the 2020v2 season. After a scoreless first half, two Quinnipiac goals within four minutes of each other in the third period was enough to decide the game. Goalkeeper Nina Santore was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for going 1-1 while making 19 saves and allowing six goals.

DIII: Catholic vs. Drew | 3:00 p.m. ET

A Landmark Conference meeting between Catholic and Drew will take place on Friday in Washington, D.C.

The Cardinals are playing only playing exhibition games this season. In their most recent contest, Catholic fell to Scranton 2-0.

This game marks the Ranger's season opener after their previous match against Juniata was postponed.

Head-to-head Catholic won the most recent match-up commandingly, 7-0.

DII: Queens vs. Newberry | 4:00 p.m. ET | Queens Sports Network

Before the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas (SAC) tournament gets underway on Tuesday, Queens (3-2, 3-2 SAC) and Newberry (4-1, 4-1 SAC) will finish out the season with a game in Charlotte, N.C.

The Royals are coming off an 8-0 victory over Mount Olive on Tuesday.The high scoring game saw four different goal scorers. Queens outshot the Trojans 21 to 4, putting 15 shots on goal.

The Wolves just beat Coker, 2-1, on Wednesday. It took until the fourth quarter for either of Newberry's 12 shots or Coker's 10 chances to convert. The Wolves scored in the 48th minute and then the Cobras responded at the 58-minute mark. The game-winning goal came with just 46 seconds left on the clock.

In their most recent game in October 2019, Newberry won, 3-2.

DI: No. 2 Iowa vs. Michigan State | 4:00 p.m. ET | BTN+($)

This Big Ten match-up will feature No. 2 Iowa (7-1, 5-1 Big Ten) against Michigan State (1-6, 1-4 Big Ten) in Iowa City, Iowa on Friday and Sunday.

The Hawkeyes defeated Ohio State twice last weekend, both by a score of 2-1. The second victory saw Iowa score both goals in the first 15 minutes, as they went on to outshoot Ohio State 10 to 8. The Hawkeyes nearly recorded a shutout but the Buckeyes scored with three minutes remaining.

The Spartans dropped both of last weekend's meetings against No. 7 Penn State. The most recent defeat saw Michigan State get shutout after producing just four shots on goal, to PSU's 12, and earning three penalty corners, to PSU's eight.

These teams last met in 2019, where Iowa claimed the win, 5-0.

DI: No. 6 Michigan vs. No. 10 Rutgers | 4:00 p.m. ET | BTN+($)

No. 6 Michigan (3-2, 3-0 Big Ten) will host No. 10 Rutgers (5-1, 5-1 Big Ten) in Ann Arbor, Mich. for two Big Ten games on Friday and Sunday.

The Wolverines are coming off a split weekend to No. 5 Northwestern. The won the meeting on Saturday, 3-2, but then fell on Monday, 0-1 in overtime. The win was a nail bitter that was decided in the fourth quarter. Northwestern scored first just under one minute into the game, before Michigan equalized three minutes later. The second and third quarters went scoreless, but Michigan found the back of the net twice in the fourth quarter in a four minute span to get ahead. Northwestern added one in but it wasn't enough to force extra time.

The Scarlet Knights have not played since March 14 when they defeated Michigan State, 5-1.

DIII: Roanoke vs. Washington & Lee | 7:00 p.m. ET | Roanoke Athletics

This Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game will feature Roanoke (3-1, 3-1 ODAC) against Washington & Lee (3-1, 3-1 ODAC) in Salem, Va. 

The Maroons' most recent game on Tuesday was postponed but last Friday they went on to defeat Eastern Mennonite 2-0. What played out to be a scoreless first half, an early third quarter goal gave Roanoke the lead and another in the fourth sealed the ODAC win.

The Generals are coming off a 6-0 win over Ferrum on Tuesday. Washington & Lee scored once in the first, second and fourth quarters, and tallied three in the third as their dominant win saw four different goal scorers.

These teams last met in October 2019, where Washington & Lee won, 3-0.

DI: Ohio vs. Central Michigan | 7:00 p.m. ET | Live Stats

Ohio (1-3, 1-2 MAC) will host Central Michigan (3-2, 1-1 MAC) on Friday and Saturday for Mid-American Conference (MAC) contests.

The Bobcats split last weekend's results against Ball State. On Friday, they fell 1-2 and rebounded on Saturday to win 2-1 in overtime for their first win of the season. Notching the first goal of the game in the opening frame, Ohio kept their opponents off until the 48th minute in the fourth quarter. Decided in extra time, it was Ohio who found the back of the goal in the 66th minute.

The Chippewas also split last weekend's results against Appalachian State. On Saturday, they won in double overtime, 3-2, and then went on to fall on Sunday, 1-6. The victory was a dramatic and exhausting one as the Mountaineers outshot Central Michigan 31 to 7, and had 12 penalty corners to the Chippewas' three.

Head-to-head Ohio won the 2019 meeting, 6-1.

DIII: Eastern Mennonite vs. Sweet Briar | 7:00 p.m. ET | Vixen Athletics

Eastern Mennonite (1-3, 1-3 ODAC) will welcome Sweet Briar (1-2, 1-2 ODAC) to Harrisonburg, Va. for the second Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game of the day.

The Royals are coming off a 0-8 loss to Shenandoah on Tuesday. Shenandoah's offensive explosion of 22 shots, to Eastern Mennonite's two, and 21 penalty corners, to their 1, was enough for the commanding victory.

The Vixens' most recent game against Washington & Lee was canceled. Prior to that, the Vixens tallied their first win of the season against Ferrum 2-1 in overtime. The opening period saw a combined six saves between the two goalkeepers. The third quarter looked to be another scoreless affair until Sweet Briar scored. That lead vanished when Ferrum tied the game in the fourth but the Vixens capitalized on a penalty corner in extra time for the win.

These teams last played in October 2019, where Eastern Mennonite won, 5-0.

DIII: Ferrum vs. Lynchburg | 7:00 p.m. ET | Video

The third Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game features Ferrum (0-5, 0-5 ODAC) against Lynchburg (4-0, 4-0 ODAC).

The Panthers are coming off a 0-6 loss to Washington & Lee on Tuesday. Ferrum was unable to withstand the talented Generals.

The Hornets were set to play Roanoke on Tuesday, but the match was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. They won their previous game shutting out Randolph-Macon, 6-0, behind the hat trick of Jackie Lerro. For her efforts, she was named ODAC Field Hockey Player of the Week.

In their last meeting, Lynchburg won by a large margin, 14-0.

DIII: Randolph-Macon vs. Virginia Wesleyan | 7:00 p.m. ET | Video

Next up, Randolph-Macon (1-3, 1-3 ODAC) and Virginia Wesleyan (1-3, 1-3 ODAC) will meet in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).

The Jackets are coming off their first season win on Tuesday with a 4-0 shutout against Bridgewater. Randolph-Macon were able to score early to take the lead and staved off any offense by the Eagles.

The Marlins' most recent game against Sweet Briar on Tuesday was canceled. Prior to that, they fell at the hands of Shenandoah, 0-8.

When these team's played in 2019, Randolph-Macon won the contest, 3-2.

DIII: Shenandoah vs. Bridgewater | 7:00 p.m. ET | Video

The final Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match on Friday features Shenandoah (4-1, 4-1 ODAC) against Bridgewater (3-2, 3-2 ODAC).

The Hornets notched their third shutout of the season on Tuesday, when they defeated Eastern Mennonite 8-0. Shenandoah needed just five minutes to put up the first tally of the match and were able to maintain possession majority of the evening producing with four different goal scorers.

The Eagles are coming off a 0-4 loss to Randolph-Macon on Tuesday. The Jackets were able to score early to take the lead and staved off any offense by the Eagles.

Shenandoah won their last meeting in October 2019, by a score of 4-0.

DIII: Ohio Wesleyan vs. Depauw | 11:00 a.m. ET

To start off Saturday, Ohio Wesleyan will welcome Depauw to Delaware, Ohio for a North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) exhibition match.

The Battling Bishops went 13-4 overall and 7-1 in NCAC action. The Tigers have one exhibition game under their belts, having played Wittenberg last Sunday (no score recorded). 

These teams last played one another in October 2019, with Ohio Wesleyan winning 3-0.

DI: No. 14 Duke vs. No. 9 Syracuse | 12:00 p.m. ET | ACCNX

No. 14 Duke (3-0, 1-1 ACC) and No. 9 Syracuse (7-4, 3-2 ACC) will meet in Durham, N.C. for an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) battle and rematch of an ACC Quarterfinal game.

The Blue Devils are coming off a heartbreaking 2-3 overtime loss to non-conference No. 4 Liberty. After leading 2-0 within the first three minutes of the match, Liberty cut the lead in the 12th minute and the game was evened late in the third quarter. The game-winner came in the 77th minute off a penalty corner. This marked the fourth straight contest between Duke and Liberty that went into overtime.

After restarting the spring season, the Orange have yet to lose a game collecting wins against No. 15 Saint Joseph's (x2) and Towson. They have not played since March 14, where they defeated the Tigers 3-2.

Duke and Syracuse last played in November in the ACC Quarterfinals, where it was the Orange who won 3-2 in overtime to advance.

DI: Kent State vs. Appalachian State | 12:00 p.m. ET | Boxcast

DI: No. 11 Wake Forest vs. No. 13 Virginia | 12:00 p.m. ET | ACCNX

Another Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) game on Saturday will be between No. 11 Wake Forest (5-9, 2-1 ACC) and No. 13 Virginia (5-9, 0-2 ACC). This too is a rematch game of the ACC Quarterfinals.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a 4-1 win over No. 14 Duke last Friday. A strong first period saw Wake Forest get on the board twice in the opening 15 minutes. They added another in each of the third and fourth frames, which was enough to seal the win as Duke put one away in the fourth as well. Goalkeeper Tori Glaister was named Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for earning her second win of the season with a career-high tying six saves.

The Cavaliers hosted non-conference James Madison on Sunday, where they were victorious 5-2. Midfielder Adele Iacobucci was named Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for scoring twice in the win.

In the ACC Quarterfinals, it was Virginia who came out on top 2-1 to advance.

DI: La Salle vs. No. 20 UMass | 12:00 p.m. ET | ESPN+($)

La Salle (0-5, 0-2 A10) and No. 20 Massachusetts (4-1, 0-0 A10) will face off in an Atlantic 10 (A10) game in Philadelphia.

The Explorers have yet to post a positive result in the 2020v2 season. Last weekend, they fell to Towson in a non-conference game, 1-2. Towson scored once in the the first quarter and again in the third, before a late rally by La Salle and goal in the final minute cut the game down.

The Minutewomen's last contest against No. 15 Saint Joseph's was postponed. Before that, they are coming off a two-win non-conference weekend over Maine (2-1) and UMass Lowell (2-1). In the most recent win, Massachusetts and UMass both scored in the second game before sophomore Jess Beech, previous A10 Offensive Player of the Week, scored the go-ahead and game-winner in the third.

These teams last played one another in October 2019, with Massachusetts claiming the win 2-1.

Temple (4-6, 1-5 BIG EAST) will host Providence (0-4, 0-4 BIG EAST) in Philadelphia for two BIG EAST match-up this weekend.

The Owls are coming off a 0-4 loss toe Delaware on Sunday. Neither team got much done in the first quarter, with just two shots fired. Delaware scored the opening goal on a penalty corner midway through the second frame and added a reassurance tally five minutes later. The Blue Hens went on to convert once more in each of the remaining quarters for the win. 

The Friars fell in their most recent game 0-2 to Quinnipiac. After a scoreless first half, two Quinnipiac goals within four minutes of each other in the third period was enough to decide the game.

The last time these teams played was in September 2019, where Providence won, 1-0.

DI: Ball State vs. Longwood | 12:00 p.m. ET 

DI: No. 16 Boston College vs. No. 3 Louisville | 1:00 p.m. ET 

No. 3 Louisville (11-3, 1-1 ACC) will travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. to take on No. 16 Boston College (3-4, 0-3 ACC) in an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) meeting.

The Eagles haven't played since March 13 against Vermont, a game they won 3-0. Back-to-back goals in the 14:53 and 15:29 minutes gave Boston College the confidence over Vermont. A penalty stroke was converted in the final quarter to secure the win.

The Cardinals are coming off a narrow shootout victory over Miami on Monday. The teams played through a scoreless 22 minutes before Louisville broke through on a penalty corner midway through the second quarter. The Red Hawks answered in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter on a penalty corner of their own to even the score at 1-1. Neither team was able to deliver a goal in the overtime periods, forcing the match into a shootout.

These ACC teams last played in October, with Louisville coming out on top 2-1.

DI: Hofstra vs. James Madison | 1:00 p.m. ET | Hofstra Athletics

A Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) game between Hofstra (2-6, 0-1 CAA) and James Madison (1-1, 1-0 CAA) will take place in Hempstead, N.Y. on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Pride fell CAA team Drexel, 1-2, in a close contest. Hofstra took the lead in the first quarter and it wouldn't be until the third frame until Drexel responded. Locked at 1-1, Drexel rallied to score the game-winner in the fourth quarter.

The Dukes split last weekend's results, defeating William & Mary (4-0) and then falling to No. 13 Virginia (2-5). On the win, JMU ended a three-game skid against the Tribe and also earned their first home victory over William & Mary since October 2012. James Madison controlled the momentum majority of the game, and didn't allow a Tribe shot until the third period.

In their last meeting, JMU won the contest 4-0.

DI: Northeastern vs. Towson | 1:00 p.m. ET | HHP

Another Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) match feature Northeastern (1-3, 0-0 CAA) against Towson (1-2, 0-1 CAA) in Boston, Mass.

The Huskies are coming off a 3-7 loss to No. 16 Boston College on Wednesday. After four scores by the Eagles in the opening frame, Northeastern got on the board in the second quarter off a penalty stroke opportunity. The sides exchanged back-to-back goals heading into the final quarter, but the lead established by Boston College was too much to overcome.

This game marks Northeastern's first CAA competition of the 2020v2 season.

The Tigers are coming off a 2-1 non-conference win over La Salle. Towson scored once in the the first quarter and again in the third, before a late rally by La Salle and goal in the final minute cut the game down.

Of their last ten meetings, Northeastern holds a 1 to 9 advantage, winning the 2019 game 2-1.

DIII: Susquehanna vs. Moravian | 1:00 p.m. ET | Landmark Digital Network Moravian College field hockey team

Susquehanna (1-0) and Moravian (1-1) will go head-to-head in a Landmark exhibition game.

The River Hawks opened the spring season with a 5-0 win over Elizabethtown, while Moravian most recently defeated Juniata 2-1 on Sunday.

When these teams met in 2019, Susquehanna won, 4-0.

DI: No. 18 Miami vs. Bellarmine | 1:30 p.m. ET

No. 18 Miami (7-1, 4-0 MAC) and Bellarmine (0-6, 0-0 MAC) will played each other on Saturday and Sunday in two Mid-American Conference (MAC) games.

The Red Hawks are coming  off a narrow shootout loss to No. 3 Louisville on Monday. The teams played through a scoreless 22 minutes before Louisville broke through on a penalty corner midway through the second quarter. Miami answered in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter on a penalty corner of their own to even the score at 1-1. Neither team was able to deliver a goal in the overtime periods, forcing the match into a shootout.

The Knights dropped both games against Kent State last weekend, 0-8 and 0-7. Six different goal scorers contributed over the two games, as Kent State went on to earn an impressive 57 shots, to Bellarmine's 10, and 22 penalty corners, to Bellmarine's 1.

DI: No. 17 Old Dominion vs. No. 4 Liberty | 2:00 p.m. ET | Monarchs All-Access

DII: Converse vs. Belmont Abbey | 2:00 p.m. ET

Converse (1-4, 0-0 SAC) will welcome Belmont Abbey (2-2, 21-2 SAC) to Spartanburg, S.C. for a final in-season South Atlantic Conference Carolinas (SAC) game.

The Valkyries and Coker met in a drama filled battle that went through regulation and two extra periods before being settled in a shootout. The Cobras scored first but Converse quickly answered. The game saw no more goals until it was decided 3-1 in the shootout by Coker.

The Knights have not played since March 9, when they fell in a hard fought game to Limestone, 2-3. Limestone jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first period

These teams have a rich history of meeting, with Converse taking the most recent match-up, 2-1.

DIII: Montclair State vs. Stockton | 2:00 p.m. ET | YouTube

Montclair State (0-2, 0-1 NJAC) is back in action this weekend when they host Stockton (0-2, 0-0 NJAC) in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game.

The Red Hawks have had their last two games canceled or postponed, with their most recent contest taking place on March 17 to Kean. In that match, the Cougars scored once in the second quarter, twice in the third and again in the fourth on their way to a 4-0 win.

The Ospreys are coming off a 0-1 loss to Kean on Tuesday. The game-winner came just two minutes into the contest in a rematch of the season opener.

When these teams played in 2019, Stockton beat Montclair State in a narrow game that ended 1-0.

DI: Boston U. vs. Colgate | 3:00 p.m. ET | ESPN+($)

Boston U. (2-0, 2-0 PL) and Colgate (2-0, 2-0 PL) will play in two Patriot League games this Saturday and Sunday. Both the Terriers and Raiders have the same record on the year.

The Terriers are coming off a 2-1 overtime win over Lafayette. After a scoreless first half, Boston U. opened the scoring but the Leopards tied it three minutes later. The game went into extra time, which was decided just 2 minutes in.

The Raiders defeated Holy Cross on Sunday, 1-0, for their second win on the season. The lone goal of the contest came just 2:25 in and was followed by a lot of defensive play for Colgate who faced a total of 14 shots and 11 penalty corners.

Of the team's last ten meetings, Boston U. has won nine of those contest, with the most recent being by a score of 6-1 in 2019.

DI: Villanova vs. Drexel | 4:00 p.m. ET | Nova Nation All-Access

The Highlanders went 6-11 overall and 2-4 in the Empire 8 in 2019. Sage posted an 8-11 record and went 1-6 in the Empire 8.

Holy Cross (0-2, 0-2 PL) welcomes Lafayette (0-2, 0-2 PL) to Worcester, Mass. for a Patriot League game.

The Crusaders are coming off a narrow 0-1 loss to Colgate. A goal in the first two minutes was the decider as Colgate went on to outshoot Holy Cross, 15 to 14, as the Crusaders held an 11 to 5 advantage in penalty corners.

The Leopards are also coming off a loss, a 2-1 overtime loss over Boston U. After a scoreless first half, Boston U. opened the scoring but the Leopards tied it three minutes later. The game went into extra time, which was decided just 2 minutes in.

These teams last played in September 2019, where Lafayette won 8-0.

New Hampshire started the game with the only shot of the first quarter while UAlbany tallied their first midway through the second frame. Even with six shots a piece on the game, UAlbany scored the game winner in the 44th minute for the upset. Sophomore Julie Rodijk earned America East Defensive Player of the Week by leading the Albany defensive unit in the shutout.

The Hawks are coming off a 3-0 victory against California on Wednesday. Monmouth had three different goal scorers in the win and did not surrender a shot on goal.

These programs have met only three times since 2011, with UAlbany winning twice but Monmouth won the most recent contest, 1-0.

DIII: Elizabethtown vs. Catholic | 12:00 p.m. ET | Landmark Network

A Landmark Conference meeting between Elizabeth and Catholic will take place on Sunday in Pennsylvania.

Elizabethtown faced Susquehanna last Saturday, with the River Hawks winning 5-0.

The Cardinals are playing only playing exhibition games this season. In their most recent contest, Catholic fell to Scranton 2-0,

DIII: Drew vs. Scranton | 12:00 p.m. ET | Landmark Network

Drew will welcome Scranton to New Jersey for a Landmark match-up.

This will be the Rangers second game in two days. They take on Catholic on Friday.

Scranton will continue the 2020v2 season with this game, after going 3-0 in their exhibitions so far. 

DIII: Nazareth vs. Utica | 12:00 p.m. ET

An Empire 8 meeting between Nazareth and Utica will take place in Rochester, N.Y.

This marks the Golden Flyers' first game of the spring season. They went 9-12 in 2019 and finished 3-4 in the Empire 8.

The Pioneers went 8-11 overall and 6-1 in the Empire 8 in 2019, having their season end in the Empire 8 Tournament.

These teams last played in October 2019, with Utica winning 3-2.

DI: No. 5 Northwestern vs. Ohio State | 12:00 p.m. ET | BTN+($)

A Patriot League contest that will feature Bucknell (0-3, 0-3 PL) and American (1-0, 0-0 PL) in Lewisburg, Pa.

The Bison have yet to win a game this season, last falling to Lehigh, 0-4. The Mountain Hawks took advantage of one penalty stroke and two penalty corners to snap an eight-game losing skid to the Bison.

The Eagles have won the only game they competed this spring, defeating Bucknell 4-0 on March 14. It was a well-rounded effort across the board for the Eagles, starting on offense with four players contributing to the final score sheet. American led in total shots, 14-2, shots on goal, 10-1, and had seven corners to Bucknell's one late in the game.

DI: VCU vs. Saint Louis | 1:00 p.m. ET

Virginia Commonwealth's (3-0, 2-0 A10)'s second game of the weekend will feature Saint Louis (3-5, 0-2 A10) in Missouri.

Undefeated on the year, the Rams most recently defeated A10 opponent Saint Louis, 4-0, on Sunday. VCU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the contest and allowed just eight total shots in their win. Freshman Bridget McCormick was named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for scoring two goals including the game winner against Saint Louis.

The Billikens are coming off a 0-4 loss to Virginia Commonwealth. VCU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the contest and allowed just eight total shots in their win.

An America East (AE) match that will feature Maine (2-2, 2-0 AE) and New Hampshire (4-3, 1-2 AE) in Orone, Maine.

The Black Bears completed an AE sweep in their first weekend of conference play, defeating UMass Lowell (3-2) on Friday and California (1-0) on Saturday. In the second game, a goal in the 9th minute ended up being the game-winner as the stats showed a tight contest. Maine lead in shots 9 to 6 and penalty corners 7 to 6. Freshman Poppy Lambert was named America East Rookie of the Week for scoring in both games, and for tallying the lone goal against California.

The Wildcats fell to Stanford 0-3 on Wednesday. New Hampshire kept their opponent's scoreless through the first half despite being bombarded by 11 shots, eight of which were on goal. Stanford broke through one in the third quarter and twice in the fourth to secure the win.

In their last meeting, Maine took the game, 2-0.

To finish a stint of three games in five days, UAlbany (2-1, 1-0 AE) will host No. 20 Massachusetts (4-1, 0-0 A10) in a non-conference game in New York.

The Great Danes are coming off their second consecutive win and shutout, after defeating New Hampshire 1-0 last weekend. DIII: Virginia Wesleyan vs. Lynchburg | 5:00 p.m. ET | Boxcast

In Virginia Beach, Va., Virginia Wesleyan (1-3, 1-3 ODAC) will meet Lynchburg (4-0, 40 ODAC) in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest.

The Marlins' most recent game against Sweet Briar on Tuesday was canceled. Prior to that, they fell at the hands of Shenandoah, 0-8.

The Hornets were set to play Roanoke on Tuesday, but the match was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. They won their previous game shutting out Randolph-Macon, 6-0, behind the hat trick of Jackie Lerro. For her efforts, she was named ODAC Field Hockey Player of the Week.

In 2019, Lynchburg won commandingly 7-1.

DIII: Stockton vs. Ramapo | 5:00 p.m. ET | Stockton Athletics

Stockton (0-2, 0-0 NJAC) and Ramapo (0-1, 0-1 NJAC) will play in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game in Galloway, N.J. before the NJAC Tournament gets underway.

The Ospreys are coming off a 0-1 loss to Kean on Tuesday. The game-winner came just 2 minutes into the contest in a rematch of the season opener.

The Roadrunners have only played one game in the 2020v2 season, falling to William Paterson, 0-1, in overtime.

The last time these teams played, Stockton won, 2-1.

DIII: Roanoke vs. Ferrum | 6:00 p.m. ET | Roanoke Athletics

This Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game will feature Roanoke (3-1, 3-1 ODAC) against Ferrum (0-5, 0-5 ODAC) in Salem, Va. 

The Maroons' most recent game on Tuesday was postponed but last Friday they went on to defeat Eastern Mennonite 2-0. What played out to be a scoreless first half, an early third quarter goal gave Roanoke the lead and another in the fourth sealed the ODAC win.

The Panthers are coming off a 0-6 loss to Washington & Lee on Tuesday. Ferrum was unable to withstand the talented Generals.

In their last meeting, Roanoke shutout Ferrum, 7-0.

DIII: Eastern Mennonite vs. Bridgewater | 7:00 p.m. ET | ODAC Sports Network

Eastern Mennonite (1-3, 1-3 ODAC) will welcome Bridgewater (3-2, 3-2 ODAC) to Harrisonburg, Va. for the second Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game of the day.

The Royals are coming off a 0-8 loss to Shenandoah on Tuesday. Shenandoah's offensive explosion of 22 shots, to Eastern Mennonite's two, and 21 penalty corners, to their 1, was enough for the commanding victory.

The Eagles are also coming off a loss on Tuesday, 0-4 to Randolph-Macon. The Jackets were able to score early to take the lead and staved off any offense by the Eagles.

Head-to-head these teams have always battled, with Eastern Mennonite winning in 2019, 4-1.

DIII: Washington & Lee vs. Shenandoah | 7:00 p.m. ET | General Athletics

This Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game will feature Washington & Lee (3-1, 3-1 ODAC) and Shenandoah (4-1, 4-1 ODAC) in Lexington, Va.

The Generals are coming off a 6-0 win over Ferrum on Tuesday. Washington & Lee scored once in the first, second and fourth quarters, and tallied three in the third as their dominant win saw four different goal scorers.

The Hornets notched their third shutout of the season on Tuesday, when they defeated Eastern Mennonite 8-0. Shenandoah needed just five minutes to put up the first tally of the match and were able to maintain possession majority of the evening producing with four different goal scorers.

These ODAC teams have split the results of their last ten meetings. In 2019, Shenandoah won the contest, 2-1.

DIII: South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Quarterfinals

On Tuesday, March 30, the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Tournament will start with three quarterfinal matches, at the location of the higher seed. This is followed by two semifinal games on Friday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET and final on Saturday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The semifinals and final will be played in Charlotte, N.C.

DI: Vermont vs. UMass-Lowell | 2:00 p.m. ET

UMass Lowell (4-2, 2-1 AE) will travel to Burlington, Vt. to take on Vermont (0-4, 0-2 AE)in an America East (AE) contest.

The Catamounts were unable to defeat AE teams Monmouth and Stanford last weekend.The 0-1 and 0-3 results, saw Vermont produce eight shots and four penalty corners across both games.

The Riverhawks are coming off a thrilling 1-0 shootout win over UC Davis on Tuesday. Scoreless through 80 minutes of on-field play, it was a defensive battle that saw UC Davis lead in shots 15 to 12, as well as penalty corners 8 to 1. Locked at 1-1 after the first four shootout rounds, UMass-Lowell converted on the fifth, and goalkeeper Eleonore Boekhorst knocked the ball loose from the Aggies.

In October 2019, Vermont won the match-up, 2-1.

Susquehanna (1-0) and Drew will go head-to-head in a Landmark exhibition game.

DIII: Randolph-Macon vs. Sweet Briar | 7:30 p.m. ET | Video

To finish out the month, Randolph-Macon (1-3, 1-3 ODAC) and Sweet Briar (1-2, 1-2 ODAC) will meet in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).

The Jackets are coming off their first season win on Tuesday with a 4-0 shutout against Bridgewater. Randolph-Macon were able to score early to take the lead and staved off any offense by the Eagles.

The Vixens' most recent game against Washington & Lee was canceled. Prior to that, the Vixens tallied their first win of the season against Ferrum 2-1 in overtime. The opening period saw a combined six saves between the two goalkeepers. The third quarter looked to be another scoreless affair until Sweet Briar scored. That lead vanished when Ferrum tied the game in the fourth but the Vixens capitalized on a penalty corner in extra time for the win.

Historically, Randolph-Macon has won all but three of their meeting since 2000. Winning the one in 2019 by a score of 9-0.
