USA Umpire Headed to New Zealand for 3 Nations Tournament

Dunedin, New Zealand – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce that Erika Barbera has been selected as an umpire for the upcoming 3 Nations Tournament in Dunedin, New Zealand. Barbera will be joining the U.S. Women’s National Team in representing the red, white, and blue at this event, which is set to take place January 20 through January 24.

After logging her first international tournament at the Pan American Challenge in September 2024 in Bermuda, Barbera has since blown her whistle at the 2025 Junior Pan American Challenge in Bridgetown, Barbados, and most recently at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción, Paraguay. She has been involved in a multitude of USA Field Hockey and NCAA events over the past year.

Barbera will be the sole USA umpire representative at this series, which features Japan, New Zealand, and the United States.
